The reason you look so good with red hair is because you are already a redhead, just a lighter tone, I mean genetically. It's obvious from your complexion, it doesn't matter if it looks blonder sometimes and redder other times. I have exactly the same hair colour and had never seen anyone with the same exact tones and changes with light before, so I indulged with the channel. And I also love deeper red like yours, but never really wanted to dye also. But it looks so good, such a satisfying copper tone.

Yes I am a redhead naturally, always have been! My hair was bright orange as a toddler. It started to go lighter as I got older and when I’d say I was ginger people would say, no your not “your blonde!” Or the worst, “mousy brown”. My family has always described me as strawberry blonde, which was pretty accurate.

@@Bladebreak3r i dont think its the worst necessarily but people look at it as a boring and dull hair color and most people I know that have got it dye it a different shade. Also, in the UK, its an extremely common natural hair color so it tends to get repetitive I guess. People want to stand out and be unique. Nothing wrong with the hair color itself tbh, it's just a lot of stereotypes surrounding it

Okay, i know it's a commitment, BUT... Henna does WONDERS to your hair I've only used it once, but I can already see the difference. I just don't recognize my hair. It's shiny, silky, yet strong and manageable. I'm so happy I've finally decided to use it

I used to use henna. A word of caution, it gets darker over time. Definitely only do your roots when you are happy with where your length color is at. Cassia is another great way to add the benefits of henna without altering the color of your hair.

I love how short, to the point and informative your video was! I’m a natural brunette and I used to colour my hair blonde all the time and loved it but recently I decided to go copper. At this point I’m convinced I’m never going back to anything else😅 copper is a beautiful colour and seems to go well with almost any skin colour if you get the right tone. I love this look on you! If you decide to commit to red, I'd highly recommend henna! It can look pretty similar to that colour (you can try it on some hair from your hairbrush to really see the colour) and it's natural with no damage to the hair. Be warned it can have a negative effect on some pre-coloured hair and you can't colour on top of it, so it is definitely a commitment but the condition of the hair after makes it entirely worthwhile!

This makes me really happy, I also have dyed red hair for a few years with henna. Its getting so long and so beautiful. I love red hair, I cant picture myself without it even though Im naturally blonde. This video reminds me of my reaction when I first did it. Dont worry about the vibrant roots, it will fade after a few washes and look like the rest of the hair, atleast mine does with henna. The reason the roots get more red is because the heat of the scalp, the more heat you have on while dying your hair red, the more red it will become. Henna is a mess to use but I love it cause it strengthens the hair and makes it thicker and it doesnt look faded until a year after. I rarely have to color my whole hair, maybe once a year, maybe even just once every 2 years. Mostly just do the roots every few months. Also want to mention im very pale and my skin used to look dead, but once I dyed my hair red it gave my skin a flush of color and I look much healthier, its really the best decision ive made regarding my hair. Not only has my hair never looked this good but also my skin.

You look stunning I LOVE it!! I’ve been dying my hair red/copper for 10+ years, started with regular dyes but got sick of the colour fading so much. No matter what I tried the colour still faded, which is difficult to manage. Doing an all over dye too much will result in build up/darkening of the ends, but only doing roots will give you super bright roots! Not great. So a few years ago I switched to Henna and haven’t looked back 🤩 I get the same colour (because I’m a natural blonde), it’s so much cheaper and doesn’t fade at all! I’d recommend it if you’re sure you want the colour for a long time - it’s very permanent

I have copper done twice (currently having copper hair) and I have to say that it stats fading really quick. I would say it lasts up to a month. Then it becomes more of a blonde tone , which is not bad , but yeah.. Really like it on you!

@@bal9944 I was also blonde as a child, but it was dirty blonde (basically light brown with caramel highlights). My eyes are hazel (light brown with a touch of green), and my skin is fair with a hint of olive (I’m of Mexican descent on my mom’s side). My hair has now darkened to a solid chocolate brown and my mom (who’s a hairstylist) said that neither red nor bright blonde would ever look good on me. She said that if I wanted to change my hair color, that I should only go back to the color I had as a kid (basically just having caramel highlights put in).

When I had red hair I was using some red capsules in the shower that you mix with your shampoo that temporarily gloss your hair more red. Really helped in between colorings.

Some advice, loreals copper gloss is amazing to keep your hair red. I don't even dye my hair anymore besides the roots, I just use that once a week and it keeps it red. It's a really deep conditioner, and does no damage! About 12 dollars where I am. Pretty sure they'd have some sort of alternative if they don't have it where you are. $12 and lasts all month.
