recipe for the raspberry jam bars
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup butter softened, or vegan butter
1 large egg or flax egg
1 cup oats
filling:
3/4 cup raspberry jam
chop the pecans until they are small chunks. mix all the dough ingredients together except the oats. Take a little more than half of the dough and place it into a 9x9 baking pan, pat it down. pour the jam on top. add the oats to the remaining dough and mix it until well combined. sprinkle the topping over the jam and bake for 45 minutes at 350

So I was on my way to the university on a bus and decided to watch a random video to entertain myself and I stumbled upon your video once again, so I felt like I had to say this. Your stories were such a big part of my life during Covid and my teenager years, I used to wait for new videos with such enthusiasm and it’s crazy that I’ve seen 64 or more chapters of your life. Back then I was immature and thought that once I was a legal adult I could move away, live my life to the fullest and that things would go my way. I’ve seen you build that cabin from scratch and I’ve witnessed your enthusiasm during the process and happiness you felt after finishing it, heck even I felt so fulfilled that I cried very hard, with happy tears ofc😊 I used to watch your every adventure of living in the mountains and connecting with nature; it was my motivation to live of grid and be one with nature just like you; but unfortunately I became an entrant and studying took so much of my time that I couldn’t watch your videos and now I’m finally a student. Oddly enough I randomly came across your video today after so many years. It is so crazy that I’ve know you for years through your content, yet you have no idea of my existence and now that I watched this amazing chapter and learned that you are to be married I feel so fulfilled. I live on a completely different continent and you don’t even know of my existence but here I am crying over a “complete stranger” I’ve come to know and appreciate you over years; you are such an amazing person, so kind, down-to-earth and diligent; you made me fall in love with your personality all over again. Here’s a piece of advice from someone with 29 years of marriage under her belt, don’t talk about any couples/marital problems with your family, not your parents, not your siblings if they will tell the rest of the family, they are never objective and will start building resentment against your partner. If you need to vent, solving it between you is ideal, but a friend that isn’t related is the next best thing. Every time you get annoyed, remind yourself of why you fell in love, and the qualities you admire in each other. Don’t go to bed angry. Nurture the friendship and laugh with each other as much as you can. Best wishes!

The intuition thing is so relatable. I’ve felt very disconnected from my intuition over the past year feeling like I don’t know what to do next, like nothing was truly calling my soul. Yet, I kept searching for something - trying to find my next project or thing to do.Then two months ago I was telling my therapist about this dilemma and how I feel so happy in my life but there’s this constant seeking for something else, something more, but it felt so shallow. Then my therapist said: “If you’re happy with where you are in life, stop searching for something and trust yourself. Trust that you will hear your intuition tell you to make a change when the time comes. For now, your intuition isn’t saying anything, and there’s nothing wrong with that.” It immediately changed the way I felt. Instead of seeking for something more despite not feeling like I needed something more, I just have to trust myself. Trust that I will know when my intuition is telling me to make a move. And this has completely freed me to actually enjoy and savour my life over the past two months.

My ex-husband and I were together for 10 years, then had broken up for only a month maybe, got back together, and got engaged right away... we were divorced a year later. It didn't work for us, but every couple and situation is different, and it's really none of our business 😂🤷🏻‍♀️ I wish them all the best ❤❤❤

I just got married the 18th of September ! We’ve been together 7+ years and felt like doing the thing made more sense insurance wise etc. super easy to get married in vegas ! But it wasn’t a whole big wedding I was a fiancé for two days. When it makes sense and feels right it does. So happy for you!
