I never thought of doing a cruise around Iceland. What a cool way to see a place I know very little about. You are giving your girls such a cool life. The views are incredible and they have your favorite candy ha ha

@@wheretheheckarethealbans haha, dont worry, we icelanders are aware of how "foreign" our language is to foreigners. always fun to see my hometown thrugh the eyes of an outsider

For the completist in us all: The 1 ISK coin has a cod, which is appropriate since that is one of our main exports. The 5 ISK coin has dolphins because dolphins are awesome! The 10 ISK coin has capelin on it, a reference to the “capelin adventure” during the 20th century, when the fish suddenly flooded our fishing grounds, causing a huge upswing in the economy. The 50 ISK coin has, as I said, a crab on it, to keep things interesting. The 100 ISK coin has a lumpfish on it. It’s funny because it’s not commonly eaten here but Icelanders still account for a huge part of the world trade in lumpfish. The main goal of catching lumpfish them is the roe (fish eggs), which are used for lumpfish caviar.
