I just got back from 10 days in Iceland. Food and fuel are incredibly expensive. I'd go back in a heartbeat though. Iceland was truly magical.

Hi JJ! You have to remember that almost all the food you eat in Iceland has a plane ticket glued to it. Income must be adjusted to allow people to be able to buy said food.

Very cool (except for the sunburn)! We have been to Iceland and went on a similar tour, but you had better weather than we did when we were there. Iceland is a fantastic place! You should also go to Yellowstone National Park, if you haven’t been there already. The geysers and the Grand Prismatic Spring there are awesome!

Lovely to see the tour in sunshine! We went on a v misty day - still awesome but not quite so enjoyable maybe. We did a pricey tour from our cruise but worth mentioning - all these places are free to enter if you went by yourself. Sorry we didn’t risk hiring a car for the day!

We were on an Iceland and Norway cruise in May of this year and there was a weather front so we had to miss THREE of the Iceland ports to include Reykjavik. It was devastating but Norway was beautiful. Been enjoying your Vlog.

We did the same tour you did with the same company. The bus company picked us up at the cruise port and drop us off there. It looks y’all went to a different farm than we did because they didn’t have horse candy. We arrived May 17 and also overnighted. We ate dinner on the ship then took the shuttle to the city. Loved it 🥰

Great video guys. My husband and I just about to sail on the Rotterdam from Amsterdam to Norway, Iceland and Scottland so have been following you for great tips. Curious on your great circle tour as you had to take bus into town to start. Of course ship has made no mention of free bus into town so that was most valuable. We booked a 10am on a minivan tour same route but including secret lagoon at the end but will pick us up at cruise port. As we overnight in Reykjavik could ue the free bus but booked a 3hr bus tour figure we’ll get a better overview and less walking after full day before. So jealous of your weather as that’s so not iceland. Keep up the great work guys!

Just back (2nd cruise) from this amazing country. Cruised there for the 1st time 5 years ago & knew I had to go back to do the tours I didn't do last time. Added bonus - both journeys started from my home town, Liverpool. From my door to my cabin door - 45 minutes total. I'd been keeping an eye on the national earthquake monitoring service prior to travelling. 2000+quakes in 48 hours across the Reykjanes peninsula close to Reykjavik 2 days before I was due to leave. Apparently an indication of an imminent volcanic eruption & Litli-hrutur (Little Lamb) duly obliged 3 days before we reached Reykjavik. Not actually a fan of cruising but it is the best value way to see Iceland - 4 ports of call around the country, ideal jumping off spots to take in the incredible scenery, flora & fauna.

Thanx for the memories. We took a local tour company the second week of June, and the weather was fabulous. We did not realize the amount of walking during the 8 hr adventure. I think we got at least 30,000 steps in . Did you happen to get to the Baun Bakery, just left facing the church, or the hotdog stand? Another great walk about in the city.😊

Loved this! I went to Iceland back in 2017 for a week (not on a cruise). The only tour we did was a Game of Thrones tour on our 2nd day there then we we drove everywhere else. Still so much I want to see there. All the waterfalls are awesome along with the views everywhere. Can’t wait to go back.

Icelandic horses are a pure breed. If a horse leaves the country for competition it cannot return. They have five gaits unlike most breeds that have 4. We saw them perform in Iceland on our land tour. Iceland is also the only place that we have travelled to where we made a sandwich at breakfast to take out for lunch. $$$
