I love you Neel, I fell the exact way you do about the animation. Who cares about the animation, the show is still enjoyable wether it has good or bad animation. Plus the animation isnt even that bad, its just not at the level everyone wants it to be at. If this is how the animation looks for the start of the season, then imagine the quality for the U-20 episodes that they are saving their budget for.

Blue lock's "png lock" is fair criticism. For example, here 6_00. Chigiri is now just a Png floating a little forward. Least they could do is animate him running towards Hiori. However, they are absolutely goated with their special effects animations. All the auras and special effects are top tier

I kinda wanted more fluid animation (like the ones in mob psycho fights or jjk fights ) instead of stop go animation style where effects play decent role here . But I think there're too many important monologues between characters that overshadows lack of animation so it doesn't really matters now the effects are goated which makes it look good plus i only care about the story so it's great for me 😅 . Tho I hope Blue lock gets a different studio for future arcs cuz this ain't workin great for U20 matches those are too legendary battles

IMHO intro is quite safe: there are some really small spoilers of "you see it when you know it" kind. And I have the same kind of feels about the quality - it's not bad for me, 2'nd episode was a bit stiff, but if it's saving the budget and team's efforts for the Big Game - I'm totally down for it.

This was way better than ep 2 , isagi's goal was cool, he used rin and siduo as decoys😂 . But big w for hiori bruh's passing accuracy is perfect and quite skilled too and other dude nanse was good too they dominate the midfield leading towards a beautiful goal and isagi got the respect both sidou and rin. But the position of isagi was the key to his goal

to be honest, if we didnt know how good the manga was we wouldnt have been complaining. i was waiting for the panels to be animated and its just disappointing that it looks worse than season 1 in some ways. people watch the anime because of the animation, if that wasnt the the case then they just would have read the manga. if you look up some fan animations, you realize that the season 2 animation looks wayyyy worse that any fan animation, not to mention that the fan animations look soooo good that people compare them to animes first season. with that said, im still hoping that their saving the budget for u-20.
