The Case for Messiah seeks to answer some the biggest questions and objections to the Messianic interpretation of scripture and strengthen your faith. Rashi and other Jewish teachers today view the Servant of the Lord in Isaiah 53 being fulfilled in Israel, but as Dr. Broshi and Dr. Postell dig into the text and context surrounding Isaiah 53 and the chapters leading to it, we see how illogical that concept becomes. Dig deeper into one of the most powerful prophecies of the bible and let the roots of your faith be strengthened by this powerful podcast!

It’s talking about the house of Israel ( lost ten tribes of Israel) which are really not lost . God know which nations are these lost tribes. We have believe that our brothers the Jews ( house of Judah) make up all of Israel. When the reality is that a Jew is an Israelite but the majority of Israelites are not Jews. Proof Joseph was not a jew, he was not son of Judah but of Jacob. Same as Dan is not a Jew.

It is interesting that Jesus quoted Isaiah 61 instead of Isaiah 53. He humbled himself not focusing on his title but emphasizing what he is here for to redeem the poor in spirit. He is the God that you can see and relate. He understands our suffering. A servant but King of kings at the same time. Even the devil trembles before him.

Many people do not believe that there is a God who created us and the universe. The demons knew who Jesus was and shouted as He walked with crowds. Jesus told the demons to be quiet. So, even the demons knew who He was. But, the demons did not repent and believe in Him as their Savior and want to follow Him. Thus, the demons asked why He had come now? Had He come before His appointed time to carry out Judgement on them? Some demons even wanted to enter into pigs. He allowed this, then the pigs ran down the mountain into the water and drown themselves. Our Lord loves us and hopes that we will realize all that He has done for us and that we will love Him in return.

Just wonderful! It's amazing that not only the death and burial of the Servant of the Lord is mentioned in Is 53:9 ("they made His grave with the wicked-but with the rich at His death") - also His resurrection in portrayed in verse 11 ("He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days"). Every time I listen to or read this chapter my jaw drops in utter amazement at such a detailed prophecy of the passion of the Christ, but also it's theological meaning: "You make His soul an offering for sin ... My righteous Servant shall justify many, for He shall bear their iniquities" (vv.10-11). Blessings to all at ONE OF ISRAEL!

Anyone who believes that all the Bible stories are true is deeply insane. Many Old Testament stories are the direct opposite of what Jesus teaches. A true Christian would always give priority to the teachings of Jesus Christ, obviously. The charlatans NEVER do this, which is how one can know they are charlatans.

Shalom! I looked up the Hebrew Strong's Bible concordance word for Salvation you mentioned in Isaiah 52:10; the same word appears for the first time in Genesis 49: 18, where Jacob (Israe) says I have waited for thy Salvation, Oh YHVH." That word is Strong's Hebrew # 3444= Yeshuah; it occurs 77 times in the Hebrew Scruptures. On the Orher hand Strong's H-word # 3050= YAH; it occurs 49 times (7×7) in the Hebrew Scriptures. The first time we find these two words together is in Exodus 15:2, where Moshe says, " YAH is my strength and song, and he is become my YESHUAH/SALVATION; He is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's Elohim, and I will exalt him (Psalm 118:14, 26)." And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ. And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law, Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said, Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word: For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, Luke 2:25‭-‬30 KJV

Also, if Israel died for the nations it would be on going because Israel can't die as a whole and rise as a whole to conquer death. Wouldn't it say dies not died past tense? This is very interesting! Thank you for sharing! We found out we have lost Jewish heritage. I have been wandering how would I share my faith? This is so helpful.

We understand death in this context as the loss of sovreignty and ceasing to exist as a nation amongst nations and being reduced to live as small communities scattered across the world. A sort if death in the national sense. The resurrection is going to being an independant, sovreign state, which happened in 1948 in the restablisment of the state of Israel.

God's people are not national Israel but His people spiritually. Read Rom 9:4-8. Israel as a people can only be saved individually as will be all people who love trust and obey God and keep His commandments all ten of them not just nine and forget the fourth command of keeping His seventh day holy and not do any work on it Rev 14:12. 22:14. Not all Israelites keep God's law. The ones that do not have the faith of and in Jesus to save them from their sins not save them from their enemies. Jesus is coming to give everyone their reward not to save anyone. Today is the day of salvation not when Jesus comes. Jesus never said get ready but be ready fitted for His eternal kingdom not this temporal one. Sinful man cannot die for another sinful man. Jesus is the only One who can forgive and cleanse is from all our unrighteousness. You can't clean a dirty floor with a dirty mop. Salvation has been nothing to do with the Jews. All people can be Spiritual Jews if they follow Christ's doctrines and love and obey Him.

@@erichort4898 I see the scriptures reveal that the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are eternally beloved for the sake of their fathers. They will never cease to be a nation of special significance, as long as the sun and the moon endure. That means, in the New Heavens and the New Earth, they will finally be considered as human beings only… saved by grace individually, as are their gentile brothers and sisters. As I wrote earlier, it’s ‘both / and’ rather than ‘either / or’. God’s sovereignty is big enough for both.

When I first heard you talking about Israel as ‘the servant of the Lord’, I was skeptical. I feared that you were giving up ground to the ‘anti-missionaries’. But I did a Berean search of your scripture quotes and then listened to your video again. I saw that you were pointing out that Israel as ‘the servant of the Lord’ is a relatively small thread in the larger tapestry of Isaiah 40-55. Thank you for your discussion and for strengthening the spiritual armor of God‘s people.

How about explaining what the following teaches us ? 1 Samuel 15:2-3 Thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘I have noted what Amalek did to Israel in opposing them on the way when they came up out of Egypt. Now go and strike Amalek and devote to destruction all that they have. Do not spare them, but kill both man and woman, child and infant, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’”

Very good series, I need to watch all of it. When it comes to the idea that Isaiah 53 talks about Israel, and not a specific person, I have always mixed that with what I realize is Isaiah 9,6 - which in English translation goes like this: "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." - and to me it has sounded like Blasphemy to think that this special son would be anything but God himself. How else would the almighty God be willing to let this special son use HIS name? - I have learned that for the God of the Bible, His Name, is of His utmost pride, something He does not share with any, yet, this special son - is allowed to use His name, in the Bible, this must be a VERY special son, a Son, who simply must have a very special connection to God. My second argument for why Isaiah 53 cannot mean that the Jews (even the faithful ones)/Israel will be the redemption of the nations - is - that this will imply that mere mortals can redeem another mortal from their sins. Why then - if a mortal could redeem, why would the Jews learn they have to slaughter an animal and use it's blood to redeem them from their sins? If a mortal could redeem, why would you then not choose to sacrifice the mortal for the redemption of others, put aside that it would violate the commandment that tell not to kill.. - well, you don't violate the Law of God to fulfill it right? Does not the Bible teach that one single sin, is sufficient to deem you did not keep the Torah? - who is this special one who can redeem? In a way - it would fit with the Bible, that this special one who can redeem, is a Jew, that seems pretty clear, but, it cannot be a collective description of Jews, because most Jews - at least - as most Gentiles, if not all, have sinned - it must be a very special singular Jew. It was so interesting to hear you explain that the language in Isaiah 53 was exodus language... - and we all remember that before they left Egypt, they were instructed to take a blameless lamb, and slaughter it, and use it's blood to mark their doorposts, to save them from the angel of death who would go over Egypt, and eat the lamb - right before they would leave... Isn't it interesting that God says in the Bible that in the future, He will write His laws on our hearts... - would it not then be natural that we would then take the blood of a future special lamb, and mark the doorposts to our heart with it, before we can leave the land of sin?

Its both Jews and Messiah. The Targumin interpretation of Messiah makes it clear that the passage has a dual meaning and that the prophecy is talking about the future Messiah and Israel at the same time. Its a very ancient interpretation of the entire book of Isaiah in ancient Aramaic and written by non Christian Jews.

+++The Gospel of Matthew Chapter 25: 41+++ This passage tells us that Hell was not prepared for mankind, but was prepared for Satan and his angels. “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels." For those who do not want to be with the Lord as righteous servants in His Kingdom, then those people will follow in Satan's rebellion, be judged for their multitude of sins, and face the Lord's wrath for the sins they committed and the sins they will keep committing. The ones in Hell will not stop sinning and will continue to sin because they love sin and have no love of God in them, the chief sinner being Satan. Mankind as a whole has become very wicked, and our recorded history reasserts that truth. Unless we come to know of, accept, and obey the one true God, we will get worse and worse in our sins, to a point where we will love the darkness more than the light. +++The Gospel of John Chapter 3: 16-21+++ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.” ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Apostle Paul explains this very well in the Epistle to the Romans. Paul was used as an instrument of the Lord for the Gentiles to help explain the Scriptures and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is because the Gentiles have to start from a place of not knowing the true God of Israel, so Paul inspired by the Spirit of the Lord will expand upon the Word of God. +++Romans Chapter 1: 18-25+++ For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things. Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen." Paul writes to Timothy regarding people who reject the Lord. +++2nd Letter to Timothy Chapter 3: 1-9+++ But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. For among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men corrupted in mind and disqualified regarding the faith. But they will not get very far, for their folly will be plain to all, as was that of those two men. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________ God is Love, God is Truth, God is Righteousness, God is Holy, God is Goodness...and these are examples of the Simplicity of the Lord. He is the perfect and full representation of what is good. So that which is opposed to God is evil. All that is evil will be judged and cast into the lake of fire where they will never hurt the Lord's people and children ever again. The Lord will be with his people and children in the new Heaven and the new Earth. Jesus always says it the best way. +++Revelation Chapter 22: 10-21+++ And he (Jesus) said to me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near. Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy.” “Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates. Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.” The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price. I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book. He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen.

@@tonyatgoogle6076 The only way to be reconciled with the Lord and exist in His full presence is by accepting the sacrificial atonement provided by His Son and our Savior Jesus. After death you will rest with Him. You will be made perfect to stand before Him in robes of righteousness with all sin washed away. There will be a Day of Judgement where all is resolved by the Lord. To put it simply, sins against the living eternal God carries a punishment of death and eternal destruction under His righteous justice. If one sins against God, then that person sins against the Author of Life itself. If the Lord is life everlasting, then what would the opposite of that be? To be opposed to the Lord is to stand with death. Hell was designed for Satan and his angels, and God wants all of mankind to come to Him. Unfortunately, not all of mankind desires to be with the Lord, and their sins will be their eternal death under eternal damnation with Satan. This is why Jesus continuously warns us to repent in our hearts, turn away from sin, and follow Him to eternal life. Jesus' work is finished and the payment has been made in full. Accept God into your heart, transform your life to live for Him, and you will be counted amongst His people and children reigning with Him forever and ever.

( *ISAIAH 53:9 says there was no Deceit in his mouth nor any violence* - ISRAEL IS NOT THE SUFFERING SERVANT). 7 Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to *shed innocent blood* : their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths. 8 The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace. 9 Therefore is judgment far from us, neither doth justice overtake us: we wait for light, but behold obscurity; for brightness, but we walk in darkness. 10 We grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if we had no eyes: we stumble at noon day as in the night; we are in desolate places as dead men. 11 We roar all like bears, and mourn sore like doves: we look for judgment, but there is none; *for salvation, but it is far off from us* ( *Israel looks for salvation - they cannot save themselves or others* ). 12 For *our transgressions are multiplied before thee, and our sins testify against us* : for our transgressions are with us; and as *for our iniquities* , we know them; 13 *In transgressing and lying against the Lord* and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart *words of falsehood* . 14 And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. 15 Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the Lord saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment. 16 And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that *there was no intercessor* (ISRAEL IS NOT THE INTERCESSOR) therefore *his arm brought salvation unto him* ( *To Whom has the ARM OF THE LORD been revealled* ); and his righteousness, it sustained him. 17 For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloak. 18 According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence. 19 So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. 20 And *the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob* , saith the Lord. ( *THE REDEEMER COMES TO ISRAEL TO THOSE WHO REPENT* - Israel is NOT the redeemer. 21 As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the Lord; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the Lord, from henceforth and for ever *NOW READ ISAIAH 53:8-9* *ISAIAH 53:8-9* He (SUFFERING SERVANT MESSIAH* ) was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for *HE* (SINGULAR MESSIAH) was cut off out of the land of the living: *for the transgression of MY PEOPLE was HE stricken* (HE = MESSIAH, and MY PEOPLE = ISRAEL).9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because *he had done NO VIOLENCE, neither was any DECEIT in his mouth* .

@@Rina-rl3hn EVERY SAGE IN THE TALMUD BEFORE RASHI SAYS ISAIAH 53 IS ABOUT THE MESSIAH - SEE FOR YOURSELF *TALMUD ISAIAH 53* Prior to the Rashi’s reinterpretation of the meaning, the servant of Yahweh was understood by most Jewish sages to refer to the Messiah. The following are some examples: (b. Sanhedrin 98b) the identity of the servant: Apropos *the Messiah* , the Gemara asks: *What is his name* ?… And the Rabbis say: The leper of the house of Rabbi Yehuda HaNasi is his name, as it is stated: “ *Indeed our illnesses he did bear and our pains he endured; yet we did esteem him injured, stricken by God, and afflicted* ” ( *RABBIS QUOTING Isaiah 53:4* ). Talmud citing Isaiah 53:12 (Sotah 14a) refers to the Messiah in an early midrash: the descendant of David. Why was he called a great mountain? Because he will be greater than the patriarchs, as is said: *Behold, My servant shall prosper, he shall be exalted and lifted up, and shall be very high* (Isa. 52:13). He shall be exalted above Abraham; lifted up above Isaac; and shall be very high above Jacob. He shall be exalted above Abraham, concerning whom it is said: I have lifted up my hand unto the Lord (Gen. 14:22); lifted up above Moses. (Tanchuma Toldot 14:1) In the 16th century, Rabbi Moshe Alshich was still able to state: I may remark, then, that our Rabbis with one voice accept and affirm the opinion that the prophet is speaking of the King Messiah (Driver & Neubauer, p258) *Targum Jonathan* (an Aramaic translation) of the book of Isaiah, dating around the second century, says, “ *Behold, My servant the Messiah shall prosper* .”33 The Babylonian Talmud says, *What is the Messiah’s name* ? . . . The rabbis said: *his name is the ‘Leper Scholar* As it is written *Surely he hath borne our griefs and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him a leper, smitten of God and afflicted* (b. Sanhedrin 98b)34 Midrash Ruth Rabbah, dated around the fifth century AD: And Boaz said unto her . . . come hither, and eat of the bread, and dip thy morsel in the vinegar . . . [an] interpretation makes it refer to the Messiah . . . And dip thy morsel in the vinegar refers to his sufferings as it is said, *But he was wounded because of our transgressions* (Isaiah LIII, 5) (Midrash Ruth Rabbah 5:6)35 *The medieval rabbi Maimonides (Rambam)* wrote in the twelfth century: *What is to be the manner of Messiah’s advent, and where will be the place of his appearance* ? . . . He came up as a sucker before him, and as a root out of the dry earth . . . in the words of Isaiah, when describing the manner in which *the kings . . . will shut their mouth; for that which had not been told them they have seen, and that which they had not heard they have perceived* .36 Nahman of Breslov in the late 18th/early 19th century: Our Sages also teach (Sanhedrin 98b): Mashiach will suffer sickness on behalf of all Israel, as it is written (Isaiah 53:5), “ *He was stricken because of our transgressions* .” (Likutei Moharan 118:1 Rabbi Don Yizhaq Abarbanel: If, on the other hand, our Rabbis have in view Messiah the son of David, then a difficulty arises from the words marred beyond man,’ ‘without form or comeliness,’ for Isaiah himself, so far from calling him ‘despised’ or ‘forlorn of men,’ describes him as God’s ‘chosen one, in whom his soul delights’ (xlii.1), and as the ‘rod out of the stump’ of Jesse, upon whom ‘the spirit of the Lord rests’ (xi.2), and unto whom ‘the Gentiles will seek’ (ver. 10) (Commentary on Isaiah. Found in The Fifty Third Chapter of Isaiah According to Jewish Interpreters, S.R. Driver, A.D. Neubauer (Oxford: Parker, 1877), p. 163). *WHY DID RASHI CHANGE TALMUD WRITINGS* Rashi lived through a terrible time of Jewish persecution in which Crusaders often targeted Jews - this was a source of income for their travels. Rashi witnessed the massacre of family and friends, during 1096, at the hands of Crusaders enroute to the Holy Land. Reinterpretation of Isaiah 53 delegitimized the arguments that Jesus was the Messiah of Isaiah 53 and offered comfort to the Jewish people who were worried as the Gentile Christians argued God had abandoned the Jews. Rashi offered comfort that Jews still belonged to God. He would rescue them from their suffering - So Rashi changed the Talmud teachings of the sages to comfort the Jewish people who followed him. Before 1096, ALL Talmud sages referred to ISAIAH 53 as Messianic - NEVER ISRAEL.

Talmud Sages say Daniel 9 speaks of the arrival date of the Messiah! *See Below* I will also attach other Talmud/Targum that states *Messiah comes during the 2nd temple period* - Also, *Daniel 2:44* states that the Messiah comes while the Roman Empire is in charge. *TALMUD RABBINIC TEACHINGS DANIEL 9:24-27* *Medieval Jewish teacher Maimonides said* , " *Daniel has elucidated to us the knowledge of the end times* . However, since *they are secret* , *the wise [rabbis] have barred the calculation of the days of Messiah's coming so that the untutored populace will not be led astray when they see that the End Times have already come but there is no sign of the Messiah* " (Igeret Teiman, Chapter 3 p.24.) *Rabbi Moses Abraham Levi said* , "I have examined and searched all the Holy Scriptures and have not found the time for the coming of Messiah clearly fixed, *except in the words of Gabriel to the prophet Daniel, which are written in the 9th chapter of the prophecy of Daniel* (The Messiah of the Targums, Talmuds and Rabbinical Writers, 1971) p.141-142. *Targum of the prophets* ; Tractate Megillah 3a by Rabbi Jonathan ben Uzziel, we read: "And the (voice from heaven) came forth and exclaimed, who is he that has revealed my secrets to mankind?.. *He further sought to reveal by a Targum the inner meaning of the Hagiographa* ( *a portion of scripture which includes Daniel* ), but a voice from heaven went forth and said, enough! What was the reason?-- *because the date of the Messiah was foretold in it* !" Jesus told the Pharisees that “ *Because they did not know the TIME OF THEIR VISITATION, the temple would be destroyed* . *LUKE 19:43-45* "For the days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment around you, surround you and close you in on every side, and level you, and your children within you, to the ground; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, *because you did not know the time of your visitation* ." “R. Hillel says there will be no Messiah for Israel, because they have enjoyed him already (fol. 99, col. 1) in the days of Hezekiah. Said Rav. Joseph, may God pardon R. Hillel. When was Hezekiah? In the first house, but *Zechariah (9:9) prophesied in the second house* , „Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout O daughter of Jerusalem; behold thy King cometh unto thee: He is just, having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt, the foal of an ass.‟” Babylonian Talmud, Sanhedrin, 99a Sanhedrin 98a:13 Rabbi Alexandri says: Rabbi Yehoshua ben Levi raises a contradiction between two depictions of the coming of the Messiah. It is written: “There came with the clouds of heaven, one like unto a son of man…and there was given him dominion and glory and a kingdom…his dominion is an everlasting dominion” (Daniel 7:13-14). And it is written: “Behold, your king will come to you; he is just and victorious; lowly and riding upon a donkey and upon a colt, the foal of a donkey” (Zechariah 9:9). Rabbi Alexandri explains: If the Jewish people merit redemption, the Messiah will come in a miraculous manner with the clouds of heaven. If they do not merit redemption, the Messiah will come lowly and riding upon a donkey. *DANIEL 2:44* - Messiah comes during the Roman Empire And *in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom* , which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. *ISAIAH 53:11-12* States *AFTER* the Messiah dies for our sins, he is given a kingdom. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore will *I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; BECAUSE he hath poured out his soul unto death* : and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. *DANIEL 7:13-14* Tells us that the SON OF MAN is given GLORY AND A KINGDOM and THEN he will return in his time. I saw in the night visions, and, *behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days* ( *This is after Messiah's ressurrection* ), and they brought him near before him. 14 *And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom* , that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

If I were to debate Isaiah 53 to a follower of Rabbinic Judaism, and that person presents the midrash saying the suffering servant is the nation of Israel, I would have to bring up this very important detail to the debate. How has the nation of Israel served as an unblemished sacrifice that is acceptable to the Lord? Has not the Tanakh been very clear that Israel has fallen short of being a perfect Holy nation before the Gentiles? The nation of Israel has been punished and cursed for breaking the Law and their covenant with the Lord. Jeremiah 31 tells us the Lord still keeps His promises and covenants, and will redeem the people of Israel and Judah by His own strength through a new covenant. The book of Leviticus chapters 1-7 makes perfectly clear the sacrifices/offerings that the Lord accepts, being the first, the finest, and without imperfection. These are not to be unclean. The book of the prophet Malachi chapter 1 gives a warning to the nation of Israel that the Lord does not accept blemished sacrifices, and by offering unclean sacrifices they have dishonored and sinned against the Lord. The Son of God Jesus Christ, has only been the true sacrifice to redeem both Jews and the Gentiles who share the same faith in the Lord as demonstrated by Abram, and renamed Abraham as the father of many nations, and his wife Sarai renamed Sarah would give a promised son as spoken of in Genesis chapter 17. This is all alluding to Jesus Christ as being the true promised Son. This ties in so well with Abraham bringing Isaac to be sacrificed in Genesis chapter 22, as the Father will sacrifice the Son, but God stops Abraham from sacrificing Isaac and makes an everlasting covenant with him for his faith. Instead, God the Father will sacrifice God the Son. The Lord has saved us from Himself, by Himself, and for Himself. Jesus has been the only suitable sacrifice and He is the Savior of the world, and for all mankind that believe in Him. The Word of God always puts everything the best way. Genesis Chapter 22: 12-18 He said, “Do not lay your hand on the boy or do anything to him, for now I know that you fear God, seeing you have not withheld your son, your only son, from me.” And Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, behind him was a ram, caught in a thicket by his horns. And Abraham went and took the ram and offered it up as a burnt offering instead of his son. So Abraham called the name of that place, “The Lord will provide” as it is said to this day, “On the mount of the Lord it shall be provided.” And the angel of the Lord called to Abraham a second time from heaven and said, “By myself I have sworn, declares the Lord, because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, I will surely bless you, and I will surely multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven and as the sand that is on the seashore. And your offspring shall possess the gate of his enemies, and in your offspring shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, because you have obeyed my voice.”

Psalm 110 and 129 are also related to Isaiah 53. Being the inheritor not only of the birthright of Judah but ALSO the Birthright of Joseph (through Boaz who raised up seed to his half brother Elimelech the son of Joshua Prince of Ephraim/Israel from the same mother, Rahab), David recognized the "Messiah" from his loins, would be rejected to be exalted to the "Right Hand" of power like Joseph, which began our bondage in Egypt. Because Moses promised we would be taken into world bondage greater than Egypt, a greater King than Joseph would be rejected yet glorified to power as God's Right Hand and Saviour of the world! As Gods Firstborn Son, Israel suffers in bondage to the gentiles world kingdom as Joseph suffered in prison in Egypt, until its time for judgement on Mystery Babylon (depicted in the Statue of Nebuchadnezzar) at which point Israel UNITES in GREAT EXODUS as the "Body of Messiah" and Saviour of the world obeying their King, God our Father. If we continue doing His work to establish His Kingdom on earth, we will also rule with him as His Sons (Jn. 14:11-12, Rev. 21:7 & 2:26-28)!

Isaiah 8 It is again spring, and the Lord (Jahveh) told Isaiah (the Sun) to take a great roll (the year) and write in it about Maher-shalal-hash-haz, haste-to-the-spoil, he speeds-the-prey, i.e., having raised a crop we consume it, the time employed being a year. Isaiah proceeds without delay to obey the Lord's (Jahveh's) command. To this end, he took with him "faithful witnesses" - Uriah (the Sun's heat) and Zechariah (the fertilizing Sun), the son of Jeberechiah (blessing Sun), - and "went unto the prophetess” (Virgo), i.e., the Sun passed from the spring over to the end of Virgo, or to the fall equinox. During this time, she conceived and bare a son. The Lord (Jahveh) said, call his name Maher-shalal-hash-baz = the summer crops. The fourth verse tells us these crops, which were the riches of Damascus (spring) and the spoil of Samaria (winter) shall be carried to or before the king of Assyria = spring, before the child would know enough to cry "my father and my mother," i.e., they would be consumed by the next spring. The Lord (Jahveh) spake again, saying: Because this people refuse the waters of Shiloh (summer solstice), that go softly (the gentle rains), and rejoice in Rezin (spring) and Remaliah's son (Pekah = summer), therefore the Lord (Adoni = the winter Sun) bringeth upon them waters strong and many (the rainy season of winter). These shall overflow the land, even to the neck (of Taurus, where Moses struck the rock a second time), thus filling thy land, O Immanuel, up to the second month, as Noah's flood did. Therefore, do what you will, O people; take counsel together and it will come to nought (the end of the year), for God (Aries) is with us (v. 10). The people, having waited upon the Lord (Jahveh) until he had hidden his face from the house of Jacob, i.e., until after mid-summer, began to stumble and fall and get taken into the winter hemisphere (v. 15). Seeking the Lord of hosts (summer), they now found he dwelt in Mount Zion (winter solstice). Here, on being told they must seek for familiar spirits (oboth = bottles = Aquarius = Moses, the great necromancer and prophet,) and unto wizards (the new year) that peep and mutter (as children), they thought it time to seek the living Gods (Elohi, or Sun-rams of summer), - the living, instead of the dead Gods. Therefore, "to the law and to the testimony,' i.e., setting out from the winter solstice, or the Sun's greatest south declination, which is the beginning of the law and the testimony, they move on. Now, if they speak not or move according to this word, there will be "no morning" (spring) for them. They will pass through (the winter) hardly bestead and hungry; they shall curse against their king (summer) and against their Gods (Elohi), looking upward, but, downward, they shall behold trouble and darkness = winter (v. 22).

@@luismejia5224 Firstly, LORD in the Old Testament refers to the one true God. The term LORD refers to the tetragrammaton which is YHWH. There are some that tranlate the tetragrammaton as Jehovah. Also, although YHWH and Yahshua are one. Doesn't mean that they are the same being. Yahshua states to the woman at the well in John chapter 4 that God is Spirit. Speaking of his Father and our Father. David writes in Psalm 110:1 The LORD said to my Lord sit at My right hand, til l make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet. Let's not confuse the term ' LORD' with ' Lord'. Hebrew English of the same text translates. YHWH said to my Ruler. The Father is speaking to His Son. LORD capitalized is speaking only of the Father, the one true God which Jesus ( Yahshua) is speaking about in John 17:3 And this is eternal life that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ ( Yahshua Messiah) whom you have sent. Jesus Christ.. Yahshua Messiah.. Saviour Anointed.. Peter states in Acts 2:22 Men of lsrael, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know---23 Him being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death; 24 Whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it. And you are correct to say that Yahshua is the firstborn. Paul also writes in 1 Corinthians 15:20-26 But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. But each one in his own order; Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are in Christ's at His coming. Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts and end to all authority and power. For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet; The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. These verses also highlight Psalm 110. HalleluYah.
