I am a former orthodox jew who had a living encounter with The Holy Spirit at 55. Sadly to say, this comment is very typical amongst Jews. Keep up the stellar work. It couldn't be more clear. Remember, without the spiritual eyes to hear or see one will NOT ever be born again.

I just came from an oversea trip with my wife’s Orthodox Family. We visited Malta , the site where Paul was held in prison and was impacting. Unfortunately none of my wife’s family wanted to visit the site and when I offered to read the story including “It is because of the hope of Israel that I am bound with this chain.” They got upset and refused to listen. I pray that GOD opens their spiritual eyes

May YHVH continue to bless you and use you for HIS purposes "...to the Jew first and also to the Gentile" (as spoken, there is an order) Romans 1:16 Add: let me put this complete verse. Keep in context (below). I was speaking to the Jews for Jesus ppl in video. My background: I was raised (after my family accepted Yeshua) in JEWISH EVANGELISM. MY Father personally knew the founder of Jews for Jesus, in the 70's. So then our family went into Evangelism TO the Jewish ppl as well. So to everyone below who has said something's.. all I say is, we are all sinners. But there is an order, as in number one AND **ALSO to the Gentile, or why was it spoken this way?. Being Jewish we as Jews mostly Start there then it will continue to spread. So yes, gentiles are grafted in. (Jewish ppl need the gospel as well as verse also shows) Here is FULL VERSE. I'm not Jewish but here's mine: TESTIMONY! I was a LOVER of MONEY, I had quite a lot but I was never happy, Casino reminds me of bad times, I won big sums but was happy for short moments, I played harder and won crazy sums, I bought nice things, clothes and ate at nice restaurants but the joy lasted for a few days at a time I asked, WHY AM I NOT SATISFIED? I will make the story short, I lost all my money and just wanted to die, I started reading the Bible, read scriptures that woke me up and strengthened me. I prayed to God and read more of the Bible and thought I knew God. Now "When I became BORN AGAIN", God showed me a Scripture that made me cry, the tears just flowed: No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. MAMMON = Money in Hebrew. My biggest win, I came back to my first love JESUS.

The 2 masters are the light and not choosing the light (darkness). You havent accepted Christ until you've abided in the light of the world that will cause (beget) your righteousness. Christ IS the cross, the image of God in which you are made; abidingmin that light is the crux of anyone's salvation, having their mind renewed to holy each and every day that starts with the rising of the morning star sown upon your flesh. Psalm 97:11 nasb. Sunrise is to be your first love, the Great Physician and Wonderful Counselor. Abiding there is buying your refinement to gold from God. Those who abide there will constitute the church in philadelphia (in brotherly love) because they have walked in the light of the Word. 1 John 1:7. Now, what about Isaiah 30:20,21? Is this the Way? Can you see it is, from Wisdom describing how none have known it? {5:6} Therefore have we erred from the way of truth, and the light of righteousness hath not shined unto us, and the sun of righteousness rose not upon us. {5:7} We wearied ourselves in the way of wickedness and destruction: yea, we have gone through deserts, where there lay no way: but as for the way of the Lord, we have not known it. The mystery of iniquity revealed as corruption of the flesh that does not expose itself to sunrise, unleavened daylight, and unleavened night light to keep God's covenants for day and night. Jeremiah 33:20,25.

People would rather do mental gymnastics than to admit they are wrong or to admit they are scared of the consequences of being Christian.
@nothingbutthetruth61321 күн бұрын
The gymnastics is entirely being done by the nt. Just tell me why in the 23000 verses in the ot, you will never ever find a verse saying anything like "god is one...in 3 parts" or "god has a son who will be human flesh" or "god will send his son to die for you if you only believe in him"? Don't you think it is odd these concepts are absent and apparently antithetical to what it actually says? So who is doing the gymnastics? And when Christians say "consequences", I have to laugh. What consequences? Christianity is the easiest religion there is and takes no effort and no money. Why would anyone be scared to accept it if they thought it might be true?

To make matters worse for your reasoning, all those concepts can be derived from the OT as well. Just like the video has shown you (which I’m doubting now you actually saw fully) As for consequences, I’m sorry but you are out of touch with reality and oblivious to what is going on. In the Middle East they are being killed. In China it’s outlawed. In Academia they are being ostracized. In Hollywood they are blacklisted. In Families they are torn apart. Did Jesus Reject Judaism? Some have interpreted certain verses in the Gospels as rejections of Jewish belief and practice. In the Gospel of Mark, for example, Jesus is said to have declared forbidden foods “clean” - a verse commonly understood as a rejection of kosher dietary laws - but this is Mark’s extrapolation and not necessarily Jesus’ intention. Jesus and his earliest Jewish followers continued to follow Jewish law. The New Testament also include numerous verses testifying to Jesus as equal to God and as divine - a belief hard to reconcile with Judaism’s insistence on God’s oneness. However, some Jews at the time found the idea that the divine could take on human form compatible with their tradition. Others might have regarded Jesus as an angel, such as the “Angel of the Lord” who appears in Genesis 16, Genesis 22, Exodus 3 (in the burning bush) and elsewhere. Are There Jewish Texts that Reference Jesus? Yes. The first-century Jewish historian Josephus mentions Jesus, although the major reference in his Antiquities of the Jews appears to have been edited and augmented by Christian scribes. There are a few references in the Talmud to “Yeshu,” which many authorities understand as referring to Jesus. The Talmud tractate Sanhedrin originally recorded that Yeshu the Nazarene was hung on the eve of Passover for the crime of leading Jews astray. This reference was excised from later versions of the Talmud, most likely because of its use by Christians as a pretext for persecution. In the medieval period, a work called Toledot Yeshu presented an alternative history of Jesus that rejects cardinal Christian beliefs. The work, which is not part of the canon of rabbinic literature, is not widely known. Maimonides, in his Mishneh Torah, describes Jesus as the failed messiah foreseen by the prophet Daniel. Rather than redeeming Israel, Maimonides writes, Jesus caused Jews to be killed and exiled, changed the Torah and led the world to worship a false God.

I had a dream where I found myself squeezed under a rocky mountain, inside a small dark cave not much bigger than my body. Suddenly, I saw a light so strong that, even though it shone from behind the rock, I could clearly see it. It showed me the way to escape the situation. I found myself holding an iron stick and struck the spot I was shown. The rocks got broken at the place and I was able to see a way from there. Then I heard a voice, which I knew was Christ (because I was talking to it "Kristus"), saying to me: "Come after me."

What you said about Who else could be called the given Son and Mighty God reminds me of a line from one of David's psalms. Psalms 110:1 A Psalm of David. The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
@RoseSharon777722 күн бұрын
That psalm is witten about David. Not by David. The opening entry was mistranslated into English. And read the 1st two verses carefully. And David clearly stated in other verses that THE FATHER put his enemies under his feet. Its ABOUT king David.
@jeannine173922 күн бұрын
@RoseSharon7777 The Septuagent must have been mistranslated, too? And just a few verses later it refers to the the "Lord" in question as a priest after the order of Melchizedec. David was many things, but a priest he was not. I must disagree with your conclusions, they make no sense. The psalmist wrote psalms, and he often wrote them about the Messiah.

Amen. It's hard to keep denying it once you read that chapter, so beautiful. Plus, knowing non-believers in history wrote about Jesus' crucifixion as well really cements the prophecy of Isaiah 53 - which is a strong rebuttal to skeptics who claim the disciples creatively pulled from OT to make up Jesus' sacrificial story smh - for example, the Roman historian and politician Publius Cornelius Tacitus (56-120 AD) who referred to Jesus, his execution by Pontius Pilate, and the existence of early Christians in Rome in his final work, Annals (written ca. AD 116), book 15, chapter 44. 🙏🏾

At the beginning I thought these objections were valid and I was missing something big and felt like a fool. the objections are always the same : - you didn’t read the context ; - the translation is wrong ; the servant is Israel since Isaiah refers to Israel as servant several times I then spent time reading the whole Isaiah and looking at the word by word translation. And it did wonders - the Rabbis are the one taking 53 out of context! Isaiah is all about the punishment and redemption of Israel , so it makes no sense that Israel is the pure and innocent and is getting punished for the redemption of someone else (a bit better the interpretation that the servant is remnant ) - I checked the translation word by word . The only different is that there is no reference to the servant just “he”. This is actually helpful because my only question was why would God call Jesus the servant ? He does not - besides that the person in 53 is not called servant , in the whole Isaiah , Israel is not the only one called servant , but Moses , David , Jacob etc are also called servant. The moment you state a few objections they all disappear….

Its talking about the servant, Gods prophets his witness. The 144k firstborn of the 1st resurrection. Its not about one man. No one dies FOR your but BECAUSE of our sins. The rejected prophets who are pierced with many sorrows who choose death over physical life (the SOUL) the flesh profits nothing. Read Hebrews about the prophets who chose death to gain a BETTER resurrection. The 144k from every NATION tongue and tribes. You have also misinterpreted Isaiah 53. Its defined thruout scripture. The truth is that the Torah and Nach says NOT ONE WORD ABOUT JESUS! Moreover he fulfilled NONE of the key Messianic prophecies, so the argument for his candidacy doesn’t even get off the ground. The great Sages, with whom Jesus did not even rate, all rejected Jesus for the fraud that he was. The true Messiah foretold in the Torah will be a normal human being (as Jesus actually was) and has yet to come. Isaiah Ch. 11 says precisely what will happen when the Messiah comes. There will be peace throughout the world: the wolf will live with the sheep, etc. None of that happened at all in Jesus' time, and after he was killed by the Romans, the next two millennia saw more violence then ever (for example, the murderous Crusades in which tens of thousands of innocent Jews were slaughtered by Christians, the horrible Christian Inquisition which saw more than fifty thousand Jews burned alive, and hundreds of pogroms instigated by ‘kindhearted’ Christians against Jews). Also, Isaiah 2:4 says, 'He will judge among the nations.' That never happened, for the Jews ignored him completely, as he was largely ignorant of Torah. Ezekiel 37: 26-28 states that the ‘Temple will be rebuilt . . . everyone will believe in God.’ That never came close to occurring. Was there an ingathering of the exiles then?! Actually, the opposite happened! The Jews went into exile after he died! And the Temple was destroyed, not built! No resurrection, but the opposite, many Jews were killed by the Romans. These are the key Messianic prophecies, all of which Jesus failed to fulfill.

I am truly sorry for all the suffering that the Jewish people have endured especially by so called “christians” but believe me when I say there is a massive difference between a true follower of Christ Jesus and those who are “christian” in name only. The true Christ followers absolutely love and pray for the Jewish people always. We do this because Jesus has filled us with love for you. I, myself have loved the Jewish people since I was 10 years old - over 50 years now with even before I knew who God was. All of the atrocities and persecutions over the past thousands of years was not done by Lord Jesus but by the enemy. Both Jews and Christians have been persecuted. We should not be divided. I know you don’t know me but I hope you believe me when I say that we truly do love you. And I ask you to have courage and just ask God to show you if Jesus is His Son, is the Messiah. If you truly seek to know the answer then ask Him. Jesus is love and He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. I pray for you for all of God’s blessings to be poured out over you and your family ❤

@@ecogirl01 Of course, the problem with that is that the Popes, bishops and cardinals of every era were behind the killing and persecution. Papal bulls promulgated it, because that's Christian theology and it's unescapable truth. Even during the vicious slaughter of more than 6 million innocent Jews between 1941 and 45, in the most cruel ways your pope "Pious" the 12th refused to utter a word of condemnation! Please do not pray for this Did Jesus Reject Judaism?

Prior to Rashi there was much debate over the identity of the Servant in the Isaiah 53, with many commentators assigning it to the Messiah, and later specifically to the concept of Messiah ben Joseph.
@TheEnigmaticmuse22 күн бұрын
Yes, there are quite a lot of mental gymnastics in the Talmud about Messiah Ben Joseph. Knowing the Messiah would be of such significance, everyone would know of his arrival, but still the Talmud has fingers pointing everywhere except to Jesus "In the Babylonian Talmud Sanhedrin 98b Menahem ben Hezekiah is also mentioned along with a list of other names of the messiah suggested by different rabbis. Again he is not referred to directly as the Messiah ben Joseph. Menahem's name translates as "the comforter". The Rabbis also called the messiah the leper scholar, using a pun related to a disciple of Rabbi Judah haNasi who was smitten by leprosy. The passage states that he has borne our grief and carried our sorrows. Yet we esteemed him a leper smitten by God." Esteeming him a leper, is a reference to considering him accursed for his sin! But Jesus committed no sin and was falsely accused and convicted of blasphemy so he was esteemed a leper smitten by God.

@markwalker348422 күн бұрын
@@TheEnigmaticmuse Agreed, rabbinic theology does do everything it can to avoid assigning the passage to Messiah, when clearly it is what most of the early commentator's believed. Unfortunately many centuries of persecution from people claiming to be followers of Jesus/Yeshua only made things worse; what was originally an internal Jewish debate morphed into heated polemic between opposing "religions." The earliest followers of the Way were all Jews with normative Pharisaic adjacent beliefs for the time, their only distinction being their claim that Yeshua is Messiah.
