What Ari and anyone complaining about the amount of picks doesn’t get is that I was ONLY picks! He compared the Deal to Anthony Davis’ trade except with AD is wasnt just picks it was players too. Josh Hart Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram. And three first including that years pick which was a top 5 pick. The only player we gave up was a guy we partially brought in to trade and Any pick we traded that could be high will be way in the future. Also first round picks are heavily over valued. They’re worth more as trade pieces because they’re basically like buying a stock. You package up a bunch of bad ones and it seems more valuable because you get more lottery tickets to potentially win with. Hell the draft literally is a lottery which actually makes them less valuable because you can’t even ensure it’ll be a high one. The Knicks were the worst team that same draft that Davis was traded and got leap frogged by the pels and Grizz. I’ll trade picks for players that i know will do well any day

Can we trade Mitch to OKC and make it all part of nets deal? I feel like that solves everyone's problems. We eliminate biggest competition for iHart & avoid hard cap so we can re-sign him, meanwhile OKC gets a legit C for the next 2 years of Mitch's contract, which seems to be the exact timeline they are aiming for, and it all comes at a much cheaper rate for OKC than signing Ihart.

I love ihart, but am I the only one who thinks if it has to be either him or mitch then mitch is more of what we need? The only thing Isiah does better is score, but we don't need a scoring center, (the whole team can score) we need a defensive presence and an elite rebounder which mitch is.. am I wrong?

Not just better scoring, he’s an excellent hub for passing at the elbow. He’s also a high IQ screener, one of the best screeners in the league.

i kind of disagree with you, ihart isnt is more than a scorer on offense, hes moves really well without the ball, makes great cuts with aniticipation and is a great passer... ihart seems to be involved in a lot of easy baskets..

Like every one else said he’s a decent passer and better FT shooter. He’s also shown way better Durability. Mitch can’t be relied on to play 65 regular season games and the playoffs. The truth is we kinda need both because IHart against certain centers like Embid gets cooked while Mitch just can’t play that often

OG's greed has made it difficult for the Knicks to continue to pick up key players. It was all about him not the team. To check his true value, we should have let him test the market, and no way he would have gotten the kind of bag the Knicks shelled out. Knicks organization has a history of overpaying players.

And Just like that, the 6ers are better....."All in" to take a step back in the East.....Not only do they bring back KO for 2 years and only 16.3m(Geesh..)..they get their guy PG, who day one would arguably be the 2nd best Player on the Knicks....2, 6'8-9" wings..to match up against our 6'5-6'6" wings....In addition to us "possibly" losing a starter-level center, while they get Drummond as a back-up to a former MVP.....Just like that they have beaten us at our own game..getting bigger and better wings and a bigger front line to protect the paint and dominate the boards(not to mention screen setters..)..In addition to also getting a veteran backup PG, in EG, which we Also need.....We mortgaged our entire future and savings on two unproven role players(1 we hope can play 65% of his games a year, after only playing 25% of his games his first year, while now being the highest paid Knick ever..).....Talk about PG's age if it'll make you feel better inside(pause..), but it doesn't look like he's slowing down, and if he is he's still better than everyone on our roster, not named Brunson and Regular season Randle.....Just like that their counter is better......KCP, 3 years 66m, and Derrick Jones Jr, 3 for 30m, would have been much better options, considering........
