The "dead thud" bass technique should be banned. It just doesn't support the low end harmonic spectrum.

You can even see Mark give a nod of approval to the bassist early on when he was using said technique. When you guys record your jam without the “dead thud” technique post it up so we can watch it and enjoy… cheers!
