Some very tasty lines on this jazz classic. Isiah showing he knows the jazz vocabulary as well as the neo soul stuff. Round Midnight never sounded so soulful.

This is one of those songs that's so hard to get right, but I'm feeling this one. Well done. E: Forget to say, that bass player is excellent.

Im approaching pension age, and it’s my first time hearing him (or of him even). Top Level stuff, and He’s definitely going on my favourites list. I don’t think I’ve heard a better live guitar version of a Classic ever.

The "dead thud" bass technique should be banned. It just doesn't support the low end harmonic spectrum.

@@ezrakh I play upright bass, and I agree with Gregory. I'm glad he took the muffler off for the blowing section.

@@Nikosi9 “we got a another complainer here!” Lol you guys are totally entitled to your opinion, but the band and the people in the room enjoyed what they were hearing. You can even see Mark give a nod of approval to the bassist early on when he was using said technique. When you guys record your jam without the “dead thud” technique post it up so we can watch it and enjoy… cheers!
