I met Westbrook on UCLA's campus the summer before his first season in the NBA. I was a photojournalist covering the football team. I saw Westbrook walk by the locker room, and my reporter partner who was busy interviewing a football player asked me if I could catch Westbrook, and ask him if he could come over for a quick interview. I caught up to Westbrook, and he kindly came over and gave us a few minutes of his time. Very nice guy.
