I was an extra in the Bulworth movie, the church scene was filmed at my church. I was sat directly in back of Isaiah Washington and during a break, he made it a point to turn around and talk to me. He told me his name, shook my hand and was very friendly and welcoming. He said something funny to me and we even shared a laugh. There was other actors next to him that spoke to no one. I wasn’t far from Halle Berry either and she spoke but that’s it. I was only an extra was very shy and had very low self esteem. I wondered why he was speaking to lil ole me but he did and it made me feel special. That happened years ago but I never forgot it, his kindness was that impactful. That experience taught me to always be kind because you never know who’s life you’re going to impact.

Maybe if he knew what he was talking about it would be more helpful. Arawak are a tribe that we're indigenous to the west indies before Europeans. They didn't have locs because, the group of people he is thinking of that fought against the colonist are the Maroons, who freed themselves and lived in the mountains of Jamaica. The part about dreads being a term used by Rastas is correct, but they grow their hair as part of a Nazarite vows. They believe the dreads gives them power and vow not to cut them.

When he portrayed a character of a preacher in the the movie The Under- Shepard I nearly was at a loss for words He seemed so treacherous and believable. I was late to the party of Grey's Anatomy. I came across a season with his character on DVD at the video store. I had to have and watch his character on all of the following seasons. In my opinion he was the best character however the love interest was so complicated. I would love to see more content and film with him. Love your body of work.
