It is nothing but noise in the ears of God and the proof straight from the Word of God is found in the book of Amos 5:23 that says: (Take away from me the noise of your songs; I will not listen to the sound and melody of your harps and your stringed instruments) Brothers and sisters, instead God guides to sing to Him in this way according to Ephesians 5:19 - 20 (Speak to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, sing and make music with praise from your heart to the Lord; Give thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ) And this is the Word of God. Therefore, this so called hip-hop gospel is nothing but noise in the ears of God and even unto them that truly have a heart of God in them. A true Christian cannot differentiate hip-hop gospel to world music because it is the same thing and same lifestyle as the people of the world except that Jesus Christ is mentioned somewhere in the rap. However, this still does not mean that the song carries the presence of God because God does not dwell in unclean places including rap. Some of you may argue about this but just listen to yourself while uttering out such rap words from your mouth and deceiving yourselves that you are Indeed worshipping God. Do not deceive yourselves or be deceived by them that produce it no matter how much they expose the enemy. May God help each and everyone of us to have the spirit of discernment at work always and may we also be willing to pay attention to what the spirit of God is saying. Give all the praise and glory to Yah, for allowing you to make it this far, to do his will and not your own.
