Pls note that the nishada in Mukhari is indeed KAISIKHI and not kakali. Due to a slip of the tongue I have mentioned kakali at one point in the video. This is incorrect. The slides reflect Kaisikhi nishada. Also, it is important in Karnatik music to go by what you "hear" and not what names are being used to describe notes. Therefore what you hear throughout and what is true is that Mukhari uses Kaisikhi nishada. Thank you!
