Am not even a big fan of the final fantasy series but FF12 is different. Most because of the music, story and the world. Ivalice to me always felt very Persian/Indian style and i am still convinced it was somewhat inspired by the Mahabharata.

tbh, not everyone had the skill to lead the Final Fantasy art direction, it just too Massive, too much pressure and too much for one person to handle. squaresoft got a great eye for talent, and this guy is not some run of the mill Artist, no wonder he got the job, he can managed all of those demanding workload while retaining his vision. especially you have to be able to satisfy players expectation, they play final fantasy, because they want to experience the jawdropping "Fantasy" part, not because they want to play in yet another street somewhere in California. it's crazy hard to make something extraordinary that can actually blow everyone mind. one Porsche alone is not enough for what he done for the franchise. 20 Porsche maybe

I forgot who said it but, you should plan like you're going to live till you're 90. I just wish he wouldn't think thoughts like "I'm terrible." One, because it's clearly wrong, and two, because the better way to think is "This is good...but my next piece will be better."
