Very good, as usual. I really like the angles, how you film people, everything. And soothing music too. A very good documentary!

The first time I learned about Kenji Eno was Enemy Zero. It was a game I was so intrigued with on a lot of levels. And the more I learned about Eno, the more I realized we were very much alike - eccentric and full of ideas on how things can and should be different. RIP Eno-san. And with Enemy Zero, I want to thank you for giving me the most intense levels of fear my life has ever experienced.

I can't believe we were robbed of a main female protagonist of proto Hulkenberg. She looked so much better that the final protagonist. Such a great change of direction explains quite a lot of the plot holes and missing content in the final game. I wonder what really happened behind doors for Metaphor to end in the state it is now versus what could have been. After 90 hours of completing it, I can summarize the game as an end product of "unfullfilled potential". You can sometimes see under the seams what game they truly wanted to make originally, but it's hidden under a second hand paint job. It's not a bad game at all, but it's a frustrating experience for those that had played their other games, because you will probably end with the feeling that Metaphor is a hollow husk of its original self, devoid of true risks, devoid of genuine creativity and fresh ideas and just so much, sooo much cut content...

You know the design team is passionate about paying attention to detail when the making of documentary has a whole segment on inspiration of the characters fashion hair and makeup.

I had no clue Metaphor was a thing. Randomly, I saw a video of it on KZbin. Then another. Then more… At first I didn’t plan to get it. I just wanted to watch my fav streamers play it. But after seeing them play the demo, I downloaded it. And it hooked me so hard. I love when a game like this comes into my life when I had absolutely no clue that it was coming.

it shouldve been an action rpg instead, the protagonist needs a better hairstyle or just to wear a helmet lol

Incredible.... Metaphor is a work of pure, passionate art and emotion and love.. And to not even speak of how it speaks to the very soul and really does affect your perceptions of this real world we live in, and how we can improve ours and everyone's situation if we really strive for it, it's seriously beautiful. The very questions towards what is fantasy really makes every character feel real and immerses me in Metaphors world like no other. Thank you for this experience that makes life very much worth living and pushing onward. (In-game & out) <3

Wow, what an incredible documentary! I really enjoy the behind-the-scenes content related to video games and movies. I'm truly amazed by how Katsura Hashino, Shoji Meguro, and Shigenori Soejima approach their crafts. In the end, their combined efforts resulted in an outstanding game. There's so much love and care put into it. You have gained a new subscriber to your channel, Cheers🍻

I really like how the team decided to draw inspiration from sources like 1970s fashion and not follow the standard path of things like Dragon Quest or Final Fantasy music tradition. It helps breathe fresh air into the games industry but also arts in general. (Despite not straying too far from what you may expect in a 'fantasy rpg')
@dopaminecloud11 күн бұрын
"the standard path of things" doesn't really apply to either dq or ff themselves though, only games that decide to base themselves on them

I love these three mastermind stay on the "fantasy" topic but also somehow go a little off-topic in their own style. Katsura Hashino think about making fantasy game, but what he actually done is discuss with us about "what is fantasy?". Shigenori Soejima think about sword and magic, but end up looking for old 70s fasion. Shoji Meguro think about classic orchestra, but also bring us some east asia religion element.
