There is also the one year prequsite pathway which you can satisfy the one year work experience by getting a degree basically in Computer Science or Information Security related( Which conviniently i am , im currently just finishing my internship module which was the only thing holding me from completing my degree for 2 years, getting internships here wasnt easy)..When i saw this prequisite rule, i got extremely motivated to redirect my attention from the Security+ to this Cert, passed my ISC2 CC yesterday by the way :)

It doesn’t outright say, but as it is related to CS and IT I imagine it would be fine! Maybe check out Reddit, see if anyone else has said anything about it.

I took this test last year and didnt pass it. It is pretty challenging. I then went for Sec+ and passed that, seemed a lot easier. I am going to dive back into SSCP and give it another go. Great content!

Dope video, I am about 3 classes away from this cert and I wanted to jump ahead. I also plan on choosing reading over the videos for this one as I did with the Project+. Reading helped me retain a lot better than the videos

7:45 Since you've mentioned typos, would you still recommend this practice exam book?
@PerezTheDev2 жыл бұрын
Yes I would, I would recommend working through the questions and then reviewing why they are right or wrong. That way you are eventually able to explain to yourself in a technical manner why you think you are right or why you got it wrong. 😊

From where I will get these books and which editions. How do I know that the books I have are the latest and up-to-date?
@PerezTheDev7 ай бұрын
If you can, find a library. From there I would recommend checking the Internet to verify you have the most up to date version. If not an older version is better than no book. 📖 🙌

With the SSCP can you substitute a certification on the CISSP approved Credential list for 1 year experience requirement?

Yes, you can check out the allowed certs on the ISC2 website!

@@PerezTheDev thanks, I checked also exam topics but questions in this site sems to be to much harder.. What’s your opinion about questions in this site ? Exam Topics SSCP
@PerezTheDev2 жыл бұрын
@@mave96 I like them as they seem to be more situation based. So it might seem a bit harder, as you have to go past just understanding each of the topics but actually knowing how the different topics relate to each other depending on the the given situations.

do we need to read SSCP 3rd edition guide ? or 2nd edition is enough? I am planning to take this april 2024
@PerezTheDev9 ай бұрын
2nd edition is fine. But you have to consistently practice the material and understand the “why” behind your logic.

@PerezTheDev2 жыл бұрын
You can take the test but you won’t get the SSCP credential (unless you have a 4-year degree in tech). You could also look at being an associate of ISC^2. ISC^2 has further info on their website! 🙌

Yes, if I’m correct then you can take the exam without work experience and become an associate and then you have two years to complete one year of work experience
