I have used this mainly on campsites, caravan sites, on our local airfield and around our local reservoirs. Officially, they are illegal to use on public land such as roads. However, many people do, and the police appear to turn a blind eye. Whether you decide to use them on public land is your decision. Ironically, businesses like voi.com in Cambridge, run a Boris' bikes style pick up and drop off scooter service to be used on public land (pavements). This shows the rules are unknown and unclear. Apparently, the Government is due to announce specific e-scooter legislation shortly. As a general rule, only 50% of my viewers are from the UK. This means it is likely the e-scooter will be legally allowed on public land in your country. Please check the legalities before using. Here is the UK, I'm just not sure how Green and Carbon Neutral we really want to be? The Government(s) seem unsure of e-scooters and e-bikes and are even in the process of taxing e-cars more too! They say they want more wind and solar farms but then planning is rejected. The UK is currently at odds with itself, let's hope they sort it out so we can all travel more environmentally friendly.

What a fantastic review of this model, ive just purchased the i10pro (Next model up) only because of the pneumatic tyres for a more comfortable ride. Fantastic scooter, but 20kg is quite heavy for me. Otherwise its a 10/10 scooter. You are right about it being a great quality scooter too, not too much on youtube about this model atm. Thinking of purchasing this for my GF for xmas. Thanks for the honest upload. Have subbed Alan

Good Luck I just returned the i10 max so many issues it’s unreal when I get my money back I’m going purchasing the i9 max. Decent speed honeycomb tires are a god send when you’ve dealt with pneumatic tires getting a flat every other day super shit experience with the 10max

Wear a helmet mate. Believe me, protect your head. Even low speed impacts can cause life changing injuries.

Its in better condition than my 2 month old and u needto take off those stickers on the suspension and oil the forks but yes its great. I had an rcb only went 25kmh compared to this 35.5kmh and its very noticeable they are very well built.

A thing YOU allowed, no crying allowed in my opinion, AT ALL! I was pulled over once, and credits to the cops, i was riding over 70 km/h inside the city in a 30 zone, they had ABSOLUTE GOOD REASONS to pull me over. I paid 320€ for riding without helmet and riding a non registered vehicle. If they would have wanted to, they could have taken my drivers license for it and additional >1000€. Since this day, if they have no absolute legitimate reason to pull me over, i just "run" from them by riding paths they cant follow and act as if i havent realised them, or in the worst case... really RUN from them with full power and speed as much my scooter can pull, again paths they cant follow. I just have absolutely no understanding for "illegal" scooters being by design very stable, safe and robust, while kids toys (Ninebot mainly) going 20 or 25 km/h and which are VERY UNSTABLE/UNSAFE and just annoying to ride in general. If i would ban any scooters, it would be below

"always wear a helmet" says the guy who isn't wearing a helmet 😂 Why are so many of you outdoors channel guys promoting ebikes and escooters that are illegal to use anywhere except on private land with the landowners permission? You can also get fined and get points on your driving licence for using these in public places

Because they’re great to use on private land. Campsites, caravan sites, parks, reservoirs, in the countryside, etc, etc. Also, like I’ve written, there are companies out there providing a scooter service in cities, so although officially illegal in the UK on public roads, the police are clearly not enforcing the law.

Just because something is "illegal" doesnt mean its better or safer for the streets. My Scooter, a Vsett10+, highly modified (stronger parts, more power, better suspension, proper lights and blinkers etc.) is stock already much more stable, safe and "better" for the streets compared to ANY other scooter i have seen yet in my area, just because of a VERY GOOD and STABLE geometry and because its built "different" and for other purposes (>40 mph, aggressive riding) Yet, my scooter is illegal where i live, no matter if its throttled legally via the throttle cable or via software, while the unstable scooters with small tires and bad/non existing suspension can ride all day long legally. Thankfully the police dont care enough and as long you ride safe and "slow" they dont mind you, all you get are some suspicious looks from them in hope they find anything on the go to annoy you.

Ive had mine for 5 years, I ride it everywhere, I ride it to work and back everyday which is a 3 mile journey, I live next to a police station and I have ridden past police multiple times on it. Ive NEVER been pulled.

I think you shouldn’t be encouraging your viewers to buy e scooters which are illegal to use on public roads and pavements. The law is in a mess over how to deal with people who ride them at present, but at any time a police force may choose to act. Should you be involved in an accident with a car whilst riding on a public road, your defence will look pretty feeble as it will be you who is breaking the law.

I’m sorry but its extremely irresponsible to be encouraging people to buy and use this e scooter on UK roads. Just because the Police don’t always act, it doesn’t mean that their use on UK public roads and pavements is legal - it isn’t. Just wait until you are involved in any accident particularly resulting in death or injury and you’ll find out very quickly how foolish it is to use this e scooter on the roads.

You know whats even more irresponsible? THE E-Scooter LAWS! limiting here in austria and germany those scooters to 20 or 25 km/h (on typical roads with cars going 30-40 and 50-70 km/h!) is irresponsible by design, you become basically a street blockage going 20-25 km/h, always in danger of being cut off by speeding car drivers. I dont even want to explain another issue... i can go for 5+ minutes noticable faster on a regular MTB/Downhill bike than compared to those legal kids toys. If something should be illegal... most "legal" scooters. Too unstable, too weak or even non existing suspension as well small and thin tires. While only "safe" performance scooters with better suspension, bigger tires, brakes etc should be legal.
