Interestingly, in that 2000 Panorama competition, as an Exodus player, I always loved this soulful rendition by WITCO Desperadoes/Clive Bradley. In the finals, Desperadoes placed 1st, Exodus placed 2nd with an own-tune called "The Band Will Play On" and Phase II Pan Groove 3rd with "My Time"... also loved Despers stage dramatics and portrayal placards in tribute to a few legends 4:00 - 4:33s George Yeates, Leo Coker, Wilbert Forde, Kitchener, Spree Simon, Tony Williams, Bertie Marshall, Rudolph Charles, and others. Supporters in the crowd real enjoyed this.

One of the great panorama selections, perfect execution. Bradley used his persona & charisma to capture his music, just a nod of the shoulder or body movement when he need certain parts to be expressed, he never really conducted the band because he knew Despers ability inside out, he should be knighted posthumously. 10:19

What a follow up to Pan In My House, just the portrait of a musical genius with a spectacular band. He brought out the best in highly skilled players, there so many moods to the song, Oba played right into his hands. Again listen to orchestration & musicianship; Bradley is a master of the minor, you feel like crying for joy.

My God I got chills listening to this it felt like that night they won! Theres no other bradley! This is the best arrangement ever! just the intro is a song by itself, and at 5:26 the song just changes and gets totally bradley jazzy and at 7:00 were back to the song again and you had no idea we were just removed for almost 2 min. Gotta love bradley!

I grew up playing steel pan I even used to complete yearly in panorama in Ladbroke Grove (Kensal rd) haven’t played in yyeeaarrsss I used to play the tenor pan if there’s one instrument in the world I’d want it would be a 4th and 5ths tenor pan.
