I WAS THERE THAT NIGHT. AM NOT KIDDING WHEN I SAY IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST EXPERIENCES OF MY ENTIRE LIFE. I RELIVE IT EVERY YEAR FROM FAR AWAY WISHING I COULD BE THERE AT PANORAMA. i HAVE WATCHED AN OLD POOR QUALITY KZbin VIDEO OF THIS OVER AND OVER SO I KNOW EACH NOTE AND BEAT BY HEART - FINDING THIS REMASTER JUST NOW IS A GIFT FROM GOD. I DON'T THINK ANYTHING HAS EVER SURPASSED THIS PERFORMANCE. IT ALWAYS GIVES ME SHIVERS AND BODY RIPPLES, THIS REMASTER IS BEYOND HEAVEN ON EARTH. THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I remember pushing the steel pan into the Savannah-what an experience that was! I agree, this masterpiece was truly a winner. Back then, I was at Pleasant Village High School, and I remember most of the players practicing at school and in the yard. Those were epic times. Rest in peace, Pro. ❤

This is the best Panorama Arrangement of all time.To have not win by half a point or so the band never recovered.Now Professor is gone and Fonclaire now remains a shell of what it once was.

I am a fan of both Renegades (since they were Paramount) and Fonclaire since they were (Mosco Tiles). At worst the judges could have TIED them. Fonclaire should have never lost.

Panaroma very seldom is judged correctly and just as people were fussing that machel should mot enter the competition is the same way they should protest about the panaroma is judge

This was in no way a GOOD Arrangement..... but instead a GREAT Arrangement .....deserving of a FIRST PLACE WIN ... I was live and direct at the Queens Park savannah ... the crowd was uncontrollable during this performance .... I think is was a loss by a very small margin .... then they could have been joint champions ....Oh Well .. I am just a steelpan lover with no musical certification
