ISDT A4 Overview

This my unbiased* overview of the latest ISDT product - a smart USB charger for cylindrical AA and AAA sized batteries called A4.

This a truly portable charger that can be powered from any USB source. It makes an excellent travel companion.

It's likely the reverse polarity protection IS the recessed contacts. There's nothing wrong with that if you don't circumvent it as you did. It looks like a good low buck charger if you don't want to go for the C4

Maybe the recessed positive contact plate actually IS the polarity reversal protection?

I don't like that it's micro-USB instead of type-C and I could do with 2 bays instead of 4. But I will still probably pick this one up because it's so tiny and incredibly lightweight.

Does it work well with eneloops?

I have no problems charging Eneloops. Most of my rechargeable batteries are Eneloops actually. Why do you think it wouldn't work well with them?
