I love my Q6 as well. For on-the-road charging, I carry an old 85W MacBook charger modified with an XT60 connector. Good for charging up to three 1.3Ah 4S packs in parallel at 1C.

Do you think it's worth getting SC-620 over this one? I want to get my first decent charger. And by estimate calculations, I can easily charge up 6x 4S 1300Ah Lipos with room to spare on this 300W charger.

I think the 300W charger is totally fine

Lol I have 12V 160W big stick for that and that's a like a half of wattage this thing can do. Well I am writing that after 2 years and SC series was not available in china at the time I bought my Q6. But I prefer to get stronger charger with better balancer than weaker charger with weaker balancer. I have some beatup cells and weaker balancers have problem to make them balanced since they do debalance a lot.

Is there anything against wiring this charger to the terminals of a car battery for charging at the track etc, so the input voltage would be DC 12.5-14.6v ?

I notice the cell voltage setting on the device (4.2V) but you don't say if this is adjustable. If I wish to charge my cells to 4.1V to increase longevity, would this device allow me to do that?

Hello. So if I have 3s battery with xt30 and white balance connector, I just connect xt30 on the right side up and balance into 2s-6s pins down on the right? And If charging 2s battery, with jst and 2s balance lead, what then? Thank you.

X-FLIGHT101 honestly I don't know how it happened. The only thing I could think it may be (athough I don't know how) was, I had a battery already plugged into it because I had unplugged it in haste to leave the house and the battery was still plugged into it when I went to go plug it back in when I got back and I heard a pop and that was it.
