Thank you for this video. The others just show the grounds and do not explain anything. Your introduction was superb, and I learned a lot about the origin of the shrine. I look forward to viewing your other videos. Thumbs up!

When I visited Ise Jingu I saw the ponds at the shrine and thought the look very inviting to take a bath here if I would be a Shinto priest. I have seen a documentary months later where they mentioned that the priest in fact use it for purification and bath in it. Being one with nature and in this case more close to secret place by being immersed in it just it makes feels quite intuitive to me. So I had to smile when I think back. I will visit Futamigaura next time I am at the shrine last time because of the Hagibis typhoon in October 2019 in was just soaking wet because of the rain so I skipped it. Thanks for your videos, I always love your informative part at the beginning.

Who is your cameraman? Sometimes you are filmed by someone else, but we never see them! Is The Last Ninja with you on your trips?
