Wish they would turn this into an Anime and leave EVERYTHING in the manga in the Anime. I think more and more people are getting sick of Anime changing or taking things out of them vs what the Manga had.

Most isekai and fantasy anime adaptations barely change anything actually. There are some scenes that are violent so those scenes are either removed or blurred out. Same with naked scenes. So all you’re left with is just some tweaks in the dialogue of characters and mostly skipping over some content because the studio doesn’t have enough time to animate everything in 12 episodes which is the norm for almost every anime now. Only problem I see is that the animation and the manga art extremely differ. You know this new isekai called “failure frame I became the strongest and annihilated everything with low level spells” It has some good animation and art but compare that the manga and you’ll see a devastating difference. I mean it’s incomparable to the manga. The manga has Beserk level of art but the anime has the average anime style.

@@baconlord2545 I will use just Overlord as an example of this and there are many others (people make videos on this what was not covered in the anime). Overlord did stay very close to the Light Novel (LN) or Manga, but as for the blood I would say you are right they do remove that but that is something I wish they would keep in, it cant be any worse then "The Boys". As for the changes they removed the whole Holy Kingdom ark, now they are coming back and going to make a movie out of it. (backlash is real at times). You are correct with they tweak dialogue (which is not needed if the dialogue in the LN was good enough). Overlord had a Web Novel (WN) in which I think that the author (Kugane Maruyama) might have had some people place some input on how to make it better, in which when the LN came out it was so much better. We don't need people to Disney up something. There are Anime series out there that are so long and keep on going (One Piece, Bleach, Dragon Ball Z, Pokémon, etc..) They could put it all in and keep it going for 10 years no issues. Some times I think they should look into making what they want and what the LN says and see which one gets more people watching it. I mean the reason they even have a job to do is because a writer wrote something that everyone loved all they have to do is bring it into anime without changing or deleting anything (DONT DISNEY IT UP).

These are different media (including light novels) and as such cannot be simple mirrors of each other. Anime bring motion and sound to create a new but related experience (costs aside), manga add imaginative images, and light novels have enormous depth and detail spanning many many story arcs. Finding the right balance of content, length, etc., without taking away a fans imagination evoked in light novel texts and manga images is really artistically challenging. It’s doubtful everyone images the same thing from light novels and manga and will react very differently when translated to a media manga=>anime or light novel=>manga. That’s not say some adaptions (in fact many) are dissappointing, but still I relish these adaption as they frequently introduce new views and perspectives to stories and characters.

I've been reading this novel for a long time. It is one of the sweetest stories I've had the pleasure to read. The amount of times it has made me genuinely smile with their family interactions is countless. I would highly recommend checking out any version of this story if you don't mind tame slice of life isekai stories that don't have "OMG big evil coming, gotta get stronger!!" vibes. It's such a chill read 80% of the time.

I read the light novels its a soild series so far. I didn't think the mangas did a good enough job to describe that yuki is a punk type of guy in japan so he has a bunch of different verbal ticks. I also really loved his relationship with his wife.

Really great job with the romance in this one. Most Manga is either A) MC saves girl, followed by they are now in love, B) Girl saves guy and falls in love with him? (Girl falls in love with guy she saves? only in fanatsywill that ever happen) or C) Guy and Girl are so socially akward and coninue to freak out whenever they try to have an emotional moment so nothing ever happens. This one properly built the MC and Dragon girl up and it was one of the few Manga romances I actually enjoyed.
