One time, I was shopping in a mall wearing a backpack. Then, when I was about to exit the mall the security machine beeped and one of the security pulled me over. Then they ask me some questions like what was in my bag, etc. I was under suspicion of theft since the machine beeped. Since I didn't do anything wrong, I answered confidently although I was kind of confused. Turn out, the machine can react with some kind of electronic devices like laptop, mouse, etc. Since I brought a laptop with me, they though it was the case because they didn't find anything strange in my bag. I was clear of suspicion and allowed to exit the mall. I was very ashamed because I was with my (not very close yet) friend at the time but I tried to play it cool and forget it. At the time, I thought it was because of the laptop. But how wrong I was. The second time, I was shopping for some clothes with my mom in a rather big clothing store. I was wearing the same backpack. When we tried to exit the store, the machine beeped. I didn't brought a laptop with me. I forgot how it went but they let us go and I never got to know the reason why the machine beeped The third time, I forgot about the previous incident and was wearing the same backpack to a mall alone. The same thing happenned again. The machine beeped, I was pulled over by the security. Since I didn't brought a laptop nor they found anything strange, we were confused. Then the security checked my bag one more time. They found a tag in my bag. Turn out, it was the tag that made the machine react all along. I was surprised. I remembered something. My father was the one who bought it and I just wore it unknowingly. The security believed me since the tag is different from the one they use in that mall. He said that maybe it was the staff's mistake of whatever store my father bought the bag from. They should've removed the tag before checking out the goods. He told me that I should removed the tag to avoid something like this from happenning again. I gave my thanks and exit the mall. I told my father about it and some days later the tag was gone. It was resolved. It was kinda awkward and embarrassing to shop in that mall again but I got over it since I forgot the security face and it was mandatory to wore mask anyway
