I opted not to do the "Do you want to correct the color for a more accurate reproduction of the original?" during the setup. How can I go back and do this option from the menu? I see a few adjustment options but I am not sure which one to choose to do the one you did in the video. Thanks.

Thanks for the video. My Canon I-Sensys MF643Cdw just arrived today. I paid €220 EUR and there was no USB cable inside. Second disappointment is the menu which are two separate books containing very different languages. The information there is very poor. There's no explanation about the ways to connect - and when you need to connect - and how you can connect the machine with the PC or laptop. The title for this printer says 3 in 1. It's a Printer, it's a Scanner, what's the 3rd? I have some questions about the connectivity if you are familiar with (or anybody else reading). Is there a preferable way of connecting? LAN vs USB for example? There have been many years since I bought a printer and I am left behind on this issue.

I have MF744Cdw printouts of photo looks too light - picture taken at sunset looks like taken in the full sun shine. I'm thinking on returning it. Increasing density, or darkening the colors via Quality settings gives poor results. Faces get flatten instead of darkening. Similar problem is with invoices printouts, but on pictures difference between original and printout is dramatic. I compared with HP M477fdn and results are day & night..

​@@PrintCloud unfortunately Canon service informed me that I should as first acknowledge that my printer sets out new standards.. So I decided that I acknowledge that fact and I will return this garbage. I just stuck with decision what to do next because it indeed offers best options for the money.

I have HP M479fdw and I will just arrange to return, and get refund. After just 50 prints I just find plenty of streaks. I know is toner problem, but instead of send me a new pack of starter toner, they decide to collect printer and get me refund. I think Canon i-SENSYS MF744Cdw it same printer - different brand:) So I think to go for this one. I was really happy with prints from HP M479.

@@petermacc6439 I just bought another 744, problem is the same, but after some calibration it’s closer to correct results. Last thing to improve is sharpness. I will try to play with some settings and maybe I will get what I want... I don’t know if it’s only my impression but it looks like it calibrated itself better after performing few testing printouts.

Hi, Can you print full A4 picture on 200g glosy brochure paper? And one more question - is any alternative toners for this printers? Thanks.

The media shoould be laser compatible, because of high temperature toner fixing. I suppose it could digest the 200g media, if it is not too hard, set the paper settings to Coated 3. See here: oip.manual.canon/USRMA-3551-zz-SSM-740-enGB/contents/devu-apdx-main_spec-papers.html

hi, i just bought a canon MF641CW. Every time I print something I need to go to the printer to manually select the tray. How to set up the printer tray without a need to manually select the printer tray during printing?

You need to check your paper settings in the menu and settings of the media in the computer and driver. Pritner will go for the tray where the matched paper is. You can also try to prioritize the tray. I did it in thie video, I hope it can help kzbin.info/www/bejne/bl7ZmZyvl9x2oa8

What do you need from the menu? I did few more videos with these models, you can find here, I hope it may be useful kzbin.info/www/bejne/pWW8kGWbmpyknNE&t= LCD sensitivity can be only adjusted by service mode.

you do not need, but it is recommended that you do this, maybe later you need some settings for more efficient work

Do not buy. The software provided with this printer is absolute garbage that looks like it was made in the 90s. The printer works fine but I returned mine after only 1 day of use because of the retarded software. Also the touch screen is this dual layer plastic that you need to press hard to make contact, like on the first generation GPS devices. Bad.👎

Hi, tnx for the comment, I respect your opinion, but I have to disagree. The LCD sensitivity can be adjusted. Very often the problem is too hard pressing, like people are used to use physical buttons. By software I do not know, what you mean exactly, there is MF Toolbox for scanning and Remote interface, which is a little bit confusing, more for IT geeks than normal users, but the personalisation of the device with repositioning of the menus and creating workflow shortcuts works nicely and is not a rocket science to do it.
