For SMB scan you should have network connection, not direct, direct is more for quick mobile print or scan

i did all of steps but after pushing scan bottom i get TX error, my device model is MF645Cx, could you please help me to solve the problem? i made network and address book and destination of scanned files

Check if you correctly typed the destination, and \\\\ //// , maybe that could be the reason

My path for my network drive is \\MYBOOKLIVE\Public\PrinterScan I entered into the Host Name: \\MYBOOKLIVE Folder Path: Public\PrinterScan It works. He didn't mention \\ You can also try using the Host Name as the IP address for the drive.

HI, How to scan to network folder (NAS)? And also, is template available for this printer? Like line paper, music paper ect?

Template print is available in this printers from the Application library. If you have network folder just copy paste the network address to the destination. It should be no problem there.
