Isfahan 2021 - Walking around Zayandeh Rud / اصفهان، زاینده رود

Walking along the shores of the Zayandeh Rud was always a must everytime I made it to Iran and Isfahan in particular. I have hundreds of photos taken from every possible angle ... at different times of the day and throughout various seasons from 2014 to 2019, with just once having been able to see its waters flowing down its bed ... but the best memories I have are clearly the silent moments I spent gathering my thoughts while breathing in the inevitable beauty that surrounded me, whether I was closer to Se-o Se pool or the Khaju bridge ... or even nowhere closer to any of those bridges. Upon returning to my homeland Portugal I tried to convey what a unique experience it was to have seen part of the course of this river... and despite the difficulty of sharing my inner feelings with those I showed the photos to, most of them got impressed just be looking at it ... I just hope they have the opportunity of seing it (dry or not) with their own eyes one day ...

The last bridge should have been filmed at night when it is illuminated. A great place to meet and chat with Iranian families taking a stroll.
