Ish is very disrespectful in HOW he gives his opinion on Nas's material so it's hard to take him serious. With that being said, this Nas run has been a bit overblown. He's made some good albums in this series (nothing GREAT) and nothing in this series is better than Nas's earlier work. I would put Illmatic, IWW, Stillmatic, I AM, Lost Tapes (1) ALL above anything he has done with Hitboy. His fans can be a bit delusional on where his art is CURRENTLY.

@@mrworkowt5419 That's a good question. He has silently had the best hip hop career and the longest tenure of dropping dope music. He is 50, but still looks 35. I'm sure ladies still love him. Silently makes business moves without making a lot of noise. Never played the game like others and some men appear to be jealous of that.

@@shynebayarea510 Nah, I don't think it's trash. I'm not a big NAS fan. I grew up in the south listening to Gimmicky rap that wasn't very lyrical. After I got older, I began to appreciate lyricism in rap/hip hop instead of gimmicky rap that had catchy flows and beats. I've listened to the first track so far, and I like it. I'm going to listen to it from beginning to end. I can't say the same about any other artist out right now. I'm also not a Drake fan, but heard through the internet mill that he had a new album. I did the same. I listened the first track, and actually several others, but I couldn't make it through to the end. It's subpar, very regular, feels and sounds like he's following a formula, doesn't have any lyrical weight to it, and the beats aren't even catchy. There's no lyrical content, no story being told, no concept that I can follow. It feels like a bad mix tape of random tracks. The NAS album on the other hand has me excited to finish from beginning to end. His lyrics are clear, easy to follow. I can't wait to uncover the themes and messages and listening to a coherent concept instead of random hype about money, fame, and material bs like every run of the mill "rapper."

If Jay did anything even remotely close to a run this extraordinary they would create a national holiday. Put this in a format so simplistic an infant could spot the obvious. 2012- current Jay-Z solo releases 2013 - MCHG 2017 - 4:44 Nas solo releases 2012 - LIG 2018 - Nasir 20220- KD1 2021 - KD2 2021 - Magic 2022 - KD3 2023 - Magic 2 2023 - Magic 3 Come the fuck on.
