It is the opposite. We really need to try raising good kids. Have many and maybe some of them will be the of those who revive the haqq in many areas of the world. Nowadays the ‘competition’ (not exactly a competition) is less as well, in the past there were so many big scholars that no one would take from the likes of most of our kids. Nowadays you don’t need your kid to be close to the level of imam Al-Bukhari for the people to take from him. If he spreads the haqq you will get good deeds. Do your part.

Your kid's decision is his or her own, not yours. As the sheikh said, only Allah can decide whether the kid turns out good or bad. You can never force a life to be good, or to be bad except if Allah willed it. Good kids comes from Allah's will, not just mere guidance.

İn akhirzaman like our time, some of the general rules changed as the ulama of before said. The modern "ulama" now have no idea what they are talking about. Having children when there is so much fitna around that they can't learn Islam properly because even their parents are ignorant and there's a difficulty in finding a trusted alim in this time. The children will complain to Allah that their Iman and akhira were not saved by their parents. Children is not only raised by the parents but by the community. Can you point a community now that is not corrupted? We are not just talking about materially but ma'nawi aspect. How can someone protect their children from all these corruption in the world.
