Also, I got a very good IT job, Alhumduhlilah. I let you all know this for the sake of Allah only. May Allah bless the Umma and make it easy for each and every one of us. Ameen. also I just want to say be easy, be good, and be patient to people. Don't speak harshly, even if you are right, unless you're oppressed, and even then do your best to refrain. Allah is watching. Allah does not love the haughty. No one is exempt from this rule. May Allah grant His believers the beautiful patience that only He can provide, alhumduhlilah, and may Allah bless us and protect us from the oppressors, Ameen.

Narrated Abu 'Amir or Abu Malik Al-Ash'ari: that he heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "From among my followers there will be some people who will consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks and the use of musical instruments, as lawful. And there will be some people who will stay near the side of a mountain and in the evening their shepherd will come to them with their sheep and ask them for something, but they will say to him, 'Return to us tomorrow.' Allah will destroy them during the night and will let the mountain fall on them, and He will transform the rest of them into monkeys and pigs and they will remain so till the Day of Resurrection." It is better for the brother to keep away from the entertainment industry and also being a DJ because of the bad things associated with it. Because when you in a club, you are already in a very bad environment with free mixing, lots of alcohol and drugs, and fornification. Even the lyrics of many songs with great beats have a lot of haram meanings and shirk contents, which is why I ended up disposing them long time ago

when the emissaries came to the messenger prophet Muhammad peace be upon him When they came from Africa and Ethiopia they performed for him. with drums and with dancing and with recitations of poetry over drums and with theirs and the prophet Muhammad peace be him applaud for their performance. So here's the deal. A prophet cannot applaud for something that is forbidden. If music is haram He is not going to sit there and put up with it. Imam al-Ghazali, reported several hadith and came to the conclusion that music in and of itself is permitted, saying: "All these Ahadith are reported by al-Bukhari and singing and playing are not haram." Ibin bukhari insights: prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. Did discourage the musical instruments on some of the Arabs because it was associated with pre-Islamic caults which isn't a blanking condomation of music. As there's no punishment for music compared to the others with stones and hundred lashes. The Quran mentioned absolutely nothing about musical instruments, Even King David is mentioned 16 times within the Quran. Yet Allah Almighty is not even concerned about his doings. As King David is well known to make musical instruments by glorifying Allah the Almighty. 5.87 Oh You believe! Do not forbid (yourselves) the good things which Allah has made lawful for you and do not exceed the limits. Surely Allah does not love those who exceed the limits. Allah makes it clear that he does not love those who exceeds his limit, forbidding music is exceeding limits. Say did you Note it's how God sends down to you all kinds of provisions, then you render some of them unlawful, and some lawful? Say, did God give you permission to do this? Or did you fabricate lies and attribute them to God? Quran number 10:59 Allah has made it permissible for mankind to listen to music. But people fabricate lies and attributed to Allah. Ibn abbas Said, Aisha gave a girl a relative of hers in marriage to a man of the Ansar. The prophet s.a.w came and asked, did you send a singer along with her? No, she said. The Messenger of Allah then said, the Ansar are a people who love poetry. You should have sent a long someone who would sing, here we come, to you We come, greet us as we greet you. Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. Encouraged music when he went to see the people of Ansar. Volume six book 61 number. 568 narrated by Abu Musa That the prophet said to him. Oh Abu Musa, you have been given one of the musical wind instrument of the family of David Why was he given a wind instrument? Psalms/zabur Is a holy book an Islam (Did you know psalms actually translate to to play a stringed instrument) So if instruments are haram would that mean that reading Psalms is haram? If a Hadith has contradictory towards the psalms, then it is not authentic. There is not one verse in the Quran that explicitly references music as prohibited, if there was music would have been haram. And no, surah al luqman 31:6 Will not save you. And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks (ie music, singing, etc). To mislead (men) from the path of Allah without knowledge, and takes it (The path of a Allah, the verses of the Quran) By way of mockery. For such there will be a humiliating torment (in the hellfire) The verse states that people that purchases idle talks, singing or music without knowledge that misleads people from the path of Allah, then they will be residents of hellfire. Nowhere in this verse does it say that all music is haram. Whoever says that all music is prohibited, let him also claim that the songs of birds are prohibited, imam ghazali. Not all music is Haram only some aspects of music. Music that encourages zinna and intoxicants are haram, not music that encourages the dean and joy. Chart of halal to haram music I love Allah suphana wa ta'ala And I always do my salah. Halal encourages the deen. The war is long and my companions are gone, Mubah does not affect the deen I got a gun, went to the church, shut up and had some fun. Haram since it encourages Haram things.

If they are saying music is not haram, i doubt if they are Salafi scholars! Its highly unlikely that the ones on Salafi mahaj make such claims that are not permissible in Islam

AoA brother. I’m just a layman and nothing more. Quran is the rope of Allah grab it with both hands. Not in a single place in Quran music is haram. It is a creative skill. Like every other skill use it to serve Allah. Just like brother lowkey (famous Muslim rapper and activist) is doing. Look into him. Purpose of this life is to serve Allah think of your skill as a gift from Allah and use it to achieve the higher goal not for the fame and fortune. May Allah make your life easy for you and bless all of us with guidance.

quran is not the only source for Islam, Quran singing (which distracts from the dhikr) isvharam too. today there are people who seem to praise allah with music but they dont realize they don‘t come close to Allah bc they refuse to accept the commands of the prophet saw
@kb443210 ай бұрын
The majority of music is evil and the majority of non Muslims practice it. Getting tied up to it brings you closer to their ideals and immorals. But if was was only used in a beautiful subtle way (like in the background) and clear words of goodness for Allah were promoted, then it can only be a good thing. If it fills your heart with love of Allah and his beloved prophet(pbuh) then there is a place for it. Unfortunately many Muslims who listen to music are drawn in to the ways of the unbelievers. May Allah protect us.
