Pekoms not having control over his sulong form is a him exclusive thing. As they were leaving Zou, Dogstorm told everyone the reason he chose Pedro to go over any other mink is because Pedro was the only person who could calm Pekoms when he gets like that (sulong form). We also see the only reason he was able to keep in control of his form and not attack Sanji was because he remembered Pedro's voice.

Half right, i think you get it a bit wrong, that promise is already fulfilled at the dawn cause Sanji is back to the rendezvous point 1. Luffy ate Sanji's bento at the dawn 2. Luffy ate any snacks in Bege's meeting room also milk from the fridge 3. Luffy ate the wedding cake at 10am 4. Around afternoon or evening Luffy ate Katakuri's Mochi while he eat Donuts His last meal is mochi, so he fights about 6-10 hours without eating

Funny you should mention Chopper's Monster Point, because I've had a theory on that for a while now. I believe that Chopper's Human Human fruit was misnomered, leading to the underdevelopment of the fruit's real potential. Chopper's fruit I believe is the Mink Mink fruit, as none of his transformations even remotely resemble a human despite that being the entire point of a Zoan fruit. They all resemble other animals. Plus we've never seen a full human Chopper. The real kicker is Monster Point which highly resembles a masculine Sulong form while sending him into a berserk rage before he had a chance to train and master it, like Carrot said she had to to control hers. It's also stated that it leaves you exhausted and can even kill you, much like Dr. Kureha warned him about and was shown back in Enies Lobby. Okay, but what about the lightning, I'm sure you're asking. Well if you were told you had the 'human human' fruit and all it did was give you the abilities of a human, why would you ever even think to try and use lightning from your hands? Presumably the Mink need to be trained to use Electro even from a young age. There's also some stuff later that makes me think it more and more but I won't get into spoilers, I'll just bring it up when you see it. But I'll just leave you with this: The only girl our boy Chopper's ever had a crush on in this entire show has been a reindeer Mink girl on Zou, which I think speaks more than anything else. lol

I've personally had a similar theory about Chopper for a few years, but a different model of fruit. Rather than being a Mink fruit, my theory is that Chopper's fruit is a subclass of human. In his case, either Yeti or Sasquatch. It makes the bizarre proportions of most of his transformations make sense, as well as the overabundance of fur In literally every form, and something like a Sasquatch fruit being found in the Drum Kingdom makes sense because of how it's basically a lot like Alaska and northern Canada. As for some of the other things, like Monster Point being similar to the Sulong form, it's just as similar to the Impel Down Jailer beasts, who are all awakened Zoan fruit users who lost their rationality when the transformed since that seems to be a common precedent for awakened Zoan types, at least if we go by their example. So I'd say that Monster Point is more like an artificially induced temporary awakening of Chopper's fruit (which again, I believe is model Sasquatch) rather than being a Mink fruit with a drug induced Sulong form.

You gave 3 proper examples in around 1000 chapters (pekoms doesn't count). But I can give you around 50 examples where fake death scenes happened. Even in this arc we have Pound (who's confirmed to be alive). The list starts with people like Pell, Pagaya, Igaram, Dorry, around half the Shandians who went against Enel, most of the soliders from punk hazard, brownbeard, etc etc etc. Honestly, I really wouldn't be surprised if Oda brought Pedro back. I would just be like "ah.. okay... One piece doing one piece things". That's why people say "Oda doesn't kill off people".

Good time guesstimating 40 episodes at ≈20 minutes per is 13.3repeating meaning if tea party was @ noon the episodes have literally covered 20 minutes at a time. For an anime, accurate timing minute to minute is peak period for “locked in to what’s going on in every frame” The exact opposite of Namek in DBZ.
