I admire your patience, attention to details and the fact that you don't talk and you don't show your face, because this about craft, not about the person. Thank you for sharing your craft with the world.

I worked in a woodworking shop making high-end doors and windows, as well as mouldings and whatever else was needed. I didn't really care for it at the time because of working conditions and my boss, but now, watching these videos, I sort of miss it. Not the jobs we did, but the idea that I could've made things as beautiful as this bench. Well, almost as beautiful. Anyway, if I ever get back to it, I won't make the mistake of collecting more regrets. Thank you for your work.

I look forward to every video, and will go back and watch ones I've already seen. They impact me on a deep level - not just for the amazing skill and craftsmanship of Mr. Ishitani, but also because of the very spiritual composition on the videography by Chie. And let's not forget Shiro who reminds me that all life weaves together.

Japanische Kultur in Vollendung. Ein noch sehr junger Meister. Jedes Mass stimmt. Die Räume, die sich in herrliche Durchblicke verwandeln. Optische Stabilität und Leichtigkeit in der Verarbeitung. Wie sich alles aufeinander bezieht, nichts überflüssig ist. Meisterhaft. Mein tiefer Respekt vor seinem Können.

The simplest design required the most of the craftsman, as there are no cosmetics to distract the eye from seeing what might be considered a flaw. Your work, your art epitomize true elegance in delivery. Thank you for your inspiration and continued examples of true artisan craftsmanship.
