Every Prophet we learn of in the Holy Scriptures endured some hardship but Praise God for His Mercy and Grace to bring them out of it, strengthening them to keep going. She is anointed for such a time as this and her Job like spirit won't allow her to to "give up on HER Holy and Loving God" That MAN OF GOD the ONE who is appointed to protect her in Ministry is coming, he is a prophet of God whom we have never heard or seen and she will declare the Word of God even greater and many will be SAVED

The tension grew thicker between the two and Sarai "dealt harshly with her"(Gen.16:6). That could mean told her off, in some translations of the bible it says she "humbled" her, which could mean in our modern day "punked, humiliated, or embarrassed her, so newly impregnated Hagar ran away. In verse 7 The Angel of the Lord appeared to Sarai. Now there is a distinction between "AN Angel of The Lord" and "THE Angel of the Lord".

There is only a few times where AN angel or THE Angel appears to a couple and tells them what to call the child. Anytime there is an occurrence like that, the Child is extremely important in the Plan of God. So going from that standpoint being named "The Ishmael Sisters" is not a bad thing but a blessed thing because God had a plan for Ishmael's life as He does for yours. Hope this helped. @jedite21 I was responding to DMCraigg who had said "Almost High G-d" in a reply (comment) to this video. It was not a comment on the content of the video. DMCraigg acknowledged that it was a typo and that he/she meant to say "All Most High G-d". I was just asking for clarity to DMCraigg's comment. But thanks just the same for your input. Like you said, "It's easy to be confused, though."

There is nothing wrong with the girls being named The "Ishmel Sisters" because Ishmel was not forgotten about by God, he was actually named by God. When Hagar conceived a child by Abram she began to get the big head and started "despising" or looking down on Sarai because she was unable to conceive and bring forth a child.

When "AN angel of the Lord" appears to someone they have been sent from God as a messenger to God's people (ie Gabriel to Mary) When the word indicates that "THE Angel of The Lord" appeared or said something, they are referring to the Manifested Person of God which is Jesus. Although the name "Jesus is not in the Old testament His Presence is documented throughout, but that's another discussion...

SO THE Angel of the Lord appears to Hagar in the midst of her running away and First gives her instruction to Return back to her mistress, and then gives her a similar promise that He gives Abram in Chapter 15: 5. Then The Angel of The Lord NAMES the child Ishmael which means GOD HEARS in Verse 11. If you are a student of the Word of God you know that anything that proceeds out of God's mouth is truth and it is Good. SO THE LORD NAMED ISHMAEL because He knew He had a promise for him

Ill tell you why...because Ishmel had a promise as His Father Abraham did. To take it back to the TRUTH...Ishmael was not a bastard...Hagar and Abraham were married. In Gen 15:3 it reads that "Then Sarai, Abram's wife took Hagar her maid, the Egyptian, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife."
