Tips for Doors Monsters: Name of monsters: Rush, Eyes, Seek, Halt, Hide, Screech, Ambush, The Figure, Glitch and Jack. Rush: If the lights flicker, he’s near. Find a hiding spot as soon as possible. Eyes: Don’t look at it when its there. Seek: If you start seeing eyes staring at you, a chase is going to happen. If you see a big long hallway, the chase is going to start. Always look both direction. The lit up things can guide you. If you touch the fire, it damages your health. If you touch the hands, you will die. Halt: If the screen flashes, it says “TURN AROUND” so walk the opposite direction. Hide: If you stay in a hiding spot to long, he will damage your health. Screech: Likes to lure in dark rooms, if you hear “PSST” try to find him and look at him to avoid him. If you don’t, he will jumpscare you and damage your health. Ambush: It’s like Rush, but runs past twice. If you get out of the hiding spot, he will do it again for 2-4 times. Get out of the hiding spot and come back in if this happens. The Figure: It’s blind. If it’s near you, crouch, and walk past it. If it’s coming your way, find a hiding spot. There’s a catch though, you need to press Q and E to control your breathing and your heartbeat. Glitch: If you stay behind your friends, he will jumpscare you and put you back to where your friends are. Jack: Will jumpscare you when you enter a room or open a closet, but happens rarely. Timothy: He’s not a monster, but he is a spider. He spawns in drawers. He will jumpscare you and takes 5% of your health. I hope this helps The Figure will be guaranteed to spawn in rooms 50 and 100. It is fully blind, with an amazing sense of hearing to compensate for it. If the player walks too close to it or makes too much noise, it will begin to rush toward them. To avoid Figure, the player must crouch when walking and maintain a healthy distance to keep it from hearing them. When Figure hears a player, the only way to escape is to hide in a Wardrobe. If Figure follows the player to the Wardrobe, it will prompt a short minigame where the player must press Q and E (or left and right mouse; left and right screen on mobile) to time their heartbeats and keep Figure from hearing. If you mess up once on the minigame nothing will happen, but if you mess up twice then you will be kicked out of the wardrobe, being thrown into your fate. Room 50 is a library in which the player must find books to help crack the lock leading to Room 51. The books will be slightly brighter in color than the rest and will stick out from the shelf slightly, you are also able to hear a slight 'sparkling' sound if you come near one. After finding them, they will briefly appear in the player's inventory, then disappear as the hint within them is listed on the left hand side of the screen. There are 8 shapes: circle, diamond, hexagon, pentagon, square, star, triangle and X. There is a desk in the room with a sheet of paper containing the code for the lock, which will appear as a sequence of 5 shapes. Each book the player finds shows one shape and the number it corresponds to. The player must find all of the hints that apply to the code for the door, then input the proper numbers into the lock to escape. When playing in Multiplayer, once the door has been opened, all players must rush to the exit. If a player hides for too long in a Wardrobe after the door has been opened, Figure will pull them out and kill them instantly. When the player reaches room 100, Figure will appear and play a cutscene. The player must backtrack to a Wardrobe to hide from it (however you are also able to run past Figure whilst it is climbing up to avoid the heartbeat minigame, you will not be heard and you should be safe as long as you are quick!). Once it passes the player, it will accidentally lock itself in the previous room. The player must stay hidden until Figure gets to the next room, or it will hear them leave their hiding spot. While it bangs on the door to try to get in, the player can enter the escape route elevator, but upon entering they will find that the power is out. They can take a key from a box in the elevator to open a locked door, behind which is a breaker box. The player will have to finish a minigame in which they flip the breaker switches, and once it is done, the elevator is functional and Figure breaks back into the room. It will chase the player all the way into the elevator. If the player successfully reaches it, a cutscene plays in which Figure cuts the cords of the elevator, leading to the end of the game. However, this is not the very end of the game, as more chapters will be implemented into the game supposedly soon. "You died to who you call the Figure... It cannot see, but it will use sounds and vibrations to its advantage." Recurring Entities Hide Rush Seek Screech Eyes Halt Ambush Timothy Jack Glitch Window Shadow Hide Hide manifests whenever the player stay in a wardrobe for too long. He will warn the player with a red static effect framing their screen that slowly worsens, followed by text reading "GET OUT" appearing over your screen. ~3 seconds after the text appears, Hide will force player out of the wardrobe and attack them, taking 40% of their health. The more doors the player encounters, the faster Hide will appear. Hide does not appear in rooms 50, 99 or 100. "You died to Hide... Minimize the time you spend hiding." Pre-Run Shop The Pre-Run Shop is a shop that shows up before the game starts, where the player spends Knobs to buy Vitamins, a Lighter, a Flashlight, and Lockpicks. To get Knobs the Player can collect coins in the drawers during runs. For 100 Knobs, the player can buy either x3 Vitamins or a Flashlight. For 50 Knobs, the player can buy either a Lighter or x2 Lockpicks. Items Key Opens locked doors. (Clear example: Room 1) The key might be annoying to find. Vitamin Provides a health and speed boost to the player for a short period of time. Speed effect stacks when used during Seek's chase sequence and when the player is falling behind from the group. Lighter Limited-use item that creates a small circle of light around the player. It can be found in drawers or purchased in the pre-run shop. It cannot be refueled, but can be swapped out if the player finds another. You cannot swap a lighter with one that has less fuel. It is recommended to have a full one when entering dark rooms to avoid the chance of spawning Screech. Flashlight Creates a strong beam of light wherever the player is looking. Unlike the lighter, it will not disappear if the batteries run out. It can be refilled with batteries found in drawers around the Hotel. It is recommended to have a full one when entering dark rooms to avoid the chance of spawning Screech. Lockpick Can open locks, bypassing the need to find a key. Lockpicks break after one use. Cannot open strong locks. (Elevator Power's room has a strong lock in Door 100. It also can't open the lock in the library.) Bandage Heals the player by a small amount. Can only spawn if any of the players in the run are damaged. Battery Used to refill the Flashlight. Can only spawn if any of the players in the run have a Flashlight in their inventory. Gold Can be found throughout any run in drawers. The exchange rate is 20 gold to one knob. Compartments Compartment drawers contains 5 drawers and one compartment. What's special about the compartment is that it has a 100% chance of spawning an item in it. It's highly recommended that you search these drawers. Keys will never spawn in compartments. Badges Eviction Notice: Get kicked out of the wardrobe by hide. Rarity: 13.6% (Hard) Won Yesterday: 541 thousand+ Won Ever: 10 million+ Out Of My Way: Survive Rush. Let me explain the game. So, when the light flicker, hide in the closet. If seek is chasing you, (could be at door 30) go for those glowing spots. Dont stay too long in the closet cuz hide will kick you out. If you hear a "pst" in a dark room, look at every spot quickly! If you reach the door 50, there is a library with a blind monster. So crouch and dont stop after you finish the door 50! If you see a entity called error, dont be scared cuz he does nothing. He saves people somehow. And also at door 50, find some glowing books and a paper. It hides a code so you can escape door 50. Hope this helped speed! THE ENTITIES rush - when the lights flicker, you will need to hide in a closet. the next room may have more. once rush passes by and the sound fades, it's safe to go. screech - only appears in dark rooms. look around you at all times. there will be a "psst" each time. he can be above, below or around you. look straight at him and he leaves. if you don't in time, you will get damaged by about 40%, similar to glitch, hide, etc. eyes - if you hear its unique audio cue and its ultraviolet lights, don't look. it only leaves once you open the next door. halt - if the lights flicker and you don't hear rush, in the next room. you will be in a dark hallway with a dim blue light. halt is always following you. when you see a flash, walk the oposite direction until the same flash appears (saying turn around over and over) until you reach the next room. if you want you can go back into the same hall and loot it. timothy - timothy will appear in drawers either if you're straight up unlucky, or if you loot drawers too fast. he just does 5 dmg and can't kill you. moving on. jack - jack has a 1/20 chance of being in closets and a 1/2000 chance of being behind doors (without the numbers). he just jumps scares you and does no dmg. moving on. seek - you will see eyes around door 25 - 30. they just make the lights flicker. but around door 35, seek will chase you. follow the blue light or look at bigger openings. in the next room, it will be a loop around room. find the door with the numbers on it, if it isn't on the sides. it's ahead. rinse and repeat again and the final room. avoid the hands and fire, hands instant kill while fire only does half. he will appear again around door 80. it will all be the door rooms. ambush - ambush mostly appears late game. he acts like rush, but has a different audio cue, and greenish light instead of shadows. he will swoop by twice before leaving. get out and get in as soon as you get out, as he will repeat the process up to 6 times. if it's your first time. you'll know that he left by the achievement. glitch - if you are too far from the team, your camera will be forced towards glitch before jump scaring you and sending you back to your team, dealing 40 dmg in the process. the figure. *inhales* so, the figure appears in rooms 50 and 100. the figure is blind and can get you in closets if you fail the minigame (more on that later). in door 50, you must crouch to avoid him chasing you, but if your too close, he will sense your heartbeat and kill you. you must find books with brighter colors than the rest. they also make a sparkle sound. they will have a shape and a number. for example: ⭐5. there will be a paper at the desk, which will show the shapes in the order. example: ⭐1, ⭕2, 🔲3, etc. there are 5 shapes that are random each time. and with each book you collect, the figure gets faster. if you are in a tight spot, hide in closets. keep in mind that jack can appear in closets in door 50. if the figure is near, you must play a minigame in which you must time the half a heart out lines with the heart. if it's on the left, press q. if it's on the right, press e. it gets faster and faster until the minigame ends. if you press the wrong key, don't time it right, or don't press it in time, figure will kill you. once you have all 5 shapes on the paper, go to the door upstairs and input the code in order. each shape in the order will relate to the number of the shape. and once you're finished, you can move on. on door 100, a cutscene will play where the figure swings over to the rails. keep pressing s. and once you have control over your cam, hide in the closet and do the minigame. once you are sure the figure is gone, sneak on over to the elevator above.in which a key sits there. grab it and head down the stairs to the metal door with a lock, to the right of your pov of the large door. you will do a minigame in which you must press the switches on the breaker switches that are lighted up. if it shows a number 1 - 10 (or 12) lit up, along with a higher pitch beep, press the switch. the figure won't come in, so don't worry. you must fill the bar up all the way 3 times, and once the elevator power is on, run to the elevator. don't even bother crouching. the figure will be following you at full speed. you cannot respawn at the end. now that that is over with, we can move on to the final 3̸͉̤̈́̈́̏ entities. hide - if you stay in a closet or bed for 5 - 10 seconds, you will first experience a heartbeat, followed by mild red static. turning into blood red tentacles covering most your screen, with flashes saying GET OUT over and over. if you do not get out within 8 seconds, you will be damaged by 40% and kicked out for a while. the window - the window is like a smiler from backrooms. has a chance of appearing in a random window, and will disappear during the next lightning strike. t̸̜͊h̵̠̔ḛ̸̅ ̶̡̛s̷̳͆h̸̙͝ạ̶͘d̷̡̆õ̸͚ŵ̷̜ - t̸̜͊h̵̠̔ḛ̸̅ ̶̡̛s̷̳͆h̸̙͝ạ̶͘d̷̡̆õ̸͚ŵ̷̜ is an entity that has a 1/? chance of appearing behind any door, showing up for half a second before disappearing. it makes a glitchy sound and makes the lights flicker, but t̸̜͊h̵̠̔ḛ̸̅ ̶̡̛s̷̳͆h̸̙͝ạ̶͘d̷̡̆õ̸͚ŵ̷̜ it just a mild jump scare. THE ITEMS lock pick - if you have one of these, you can unlock locked doors (other than door 50) without a key. they could break any time you do this. useful in late game dark rooms and locked doors. lighter - just a common basic light source that lights up a small distance and reduces screech attacks. however, it has limited fuel and will permanently die after full use. useful in dark rooms. flashlight - like the lighter, but rarer and has further lighting. along with that, you can find batteries to recharge it. useful in dark rooms. vitamins - they will heal half your hp and give you a large speed boost. useful in seek chase. room key - only appears in rooms with locked doors and just does what a room key should. useful in rooms with locked doors. bandage - it heals 10% of your hp when you are damaged. it can be helpful in an encounter with timothy and eyes. useful for health repair. puzzle painting - in some rooms, you must align the painting shapes with the painting outlines. that will unlock the fireplace blocking the door. useful for puzzle room. level 50 paper - it is needed to find the order of the shapes to crack the code. useful for level 50 lock. level 50 books - they will have a random number and shape inside and is needed to find the numbers to the code. useful for level 50 lock. hope the helps next time.
