This song has so many memories. I remember, in the school bus whenever they would play this song, all the cool elder kids who sat on the last seats, would tell everyone to keep quiet, and all of a sudden the entire bus which was so noisy a minute ago, would turn so silent. And everyone would hum this song. And most of us did not know the lyrics and came up with our own versions😆.

I am so glad Rick immediately noticed the Starbucks in the background. I did that too when I first saw this song. Brilliant song and a brilliant video. The song belongs to a category I call 'Bombay songs'. Basically the song video features the city of Bombay prominently. And here there is a special consideration given to the city's public transport. It starts in a bus, then there is the local train in the middle and ends with a taxi. That milk packet outside the door is a typical Bombay thing. The milkman comes and drops off packets outside the door early in the morning. As does the newspaper guy. A very good Bombay song. Another one I would recommend is the female version of 'Rim Jhim Gire Saawan'. It features the Big B.

Reluctantly watched this movie last week as I’m not a great fan of siddharth or pari.....what an unbelievably sweet movie. So many complex emotions tackled sensitively. I would even consider watching it a second time. Being an empath, you experience the myriad of emotions deeply. Sweet sweet sweet. The scene where he forgets he’s locked her in the room and comes to find she’s had an accident,...his expression before he hugs her OMG 😭 Both redeemed themselves a bit for me in this sweet movie. Another one I caught last week was Jab we met, cried throughout. Such an unexpectedly sweet gem of a movie. A lot of issues deep issues explored such as abandonment, rejection and familial trauma. Lovely!

There are 2 things u gotta know about that end: 1. you can get groceries delivered on your doorstep. Almost like the newspaper is delivered on your doorstep. 2. In america, milk is packaged in plastic cans. In india it's usually in smaller packs like what he picked up. I guess they are broke and he stole a pack of milk from someones doorstep and drinks it.
