Coney Island: Typical Mehreen Jabbar project. The best thing about her she keeps it real. All the accents, actors are complimenting their characters. The writer seems well aware of the psychology of the people living over there. There are some very interesting points like the restaurant owner councelling that psychologist but not understanding his own wife's depression in 1st episode. The shopkeeper keeping an eye on black man but is bluffed by Pakistanis.

Guys, i like your reviews, *BUT* i think sometimes you guys are highly overcritical over Green Series. I get it that their content is not flawless, but as a new bee, they should be cut some slack as unlike other bigger channels atleast they are doing experiments and bringing something different. You guys skipped BreakingNews, aren't watching Pagal Khana, yet Shidaat is being reviewed. Behadd is being reviewed, and then how can you criticise? Pas e dewaar wasn't even given a two episode chance.

Ishq murshid: if at this point I were to conclude the drama, I would have tried to rescue it by going back to the theme " Ishq Murshid". I would have shown a Shahmeer full of remorse ad guilt as he renounces his political career, leave the place, go to some remote village and tell everyone that his name is Fazal Baksh. Shibra obviously would have left him and in the story we don't follow what happens to her. In other words, leave the entire thing open ended and to the imagination of the viewers. Fazal Baksh last words in the drama as he sits like a " jogi" at a shrine stairs ( song plays on " Pagal ya jogi mujh ko Kaho tum'). Make " Ahmed Jahanzeb do the Cameo. A man " Ahmed Jahanzeb" comes to him and asks " bacchay tera Murshid Kon hay". He pauses for a minute, looks up and says " Ishq !!! Ishq hay Mera Murshid". And Ahmed Jahanzeb says " Yahan tu Saray pagal, Saray jogi Hain" !!!! And leaves.

IM... Yes it has loses its charm & they some how ruined it. But for me it's always special bcoz when I started watching it I was going through toughest time in my life then somebody recommend me to watch Ishq Murshid & it helped me to come out from those difficult days I was going through. It makes my heart smile & soul happy ❤ so I always thankful to the makers who have made this masterpiece. Whenever I feel low I started watching earlier episodes 😊

Right from the beginning I felt Ishq Murshid wasn’t worth the hype you guys gave, the chemistry between the couple wasn’t palpable, the long drawn closeup shots of the pair after a few episodes lost its value, the story was dragged beyond imagination. I’ve reached a stage where I can’t watch the drama anymore. I have never felt like this while watching guilty pleasure dramas like Sukoon. Heroine who is a CSS aspirant was shown to be dumb and doing nothing in life except looking into hero’s eyes. Farooq Rind needs to be told that the direction was hotchpotched and based on his whims and fancies the scenes were stitched together.

True. IM grabbed th eyeballs because of bilal as Fazal baksh and pure luck. Except that there is literally nothing. The leads barely look good together, the story don't have any head or tail and the direction is bad.

While I understand that Ishq Murshid is not the same as it used to be when Shahmeer was acting as Fazal Bakhsh, I still find it worth watching. The drama always had politics in the background, but when Shibra and Fazal Bakhsh's romance became popular, it took the spotlight away from the political aspects. Personally, I think the story should've ended with their marriage. Nonetheless, it's still better than typical saas bahu dramas and soap operas. About the recent episode, you have to understand that Shahmeer didn't meet Salman sb because he's now a well-known party leader. Before, as Fazal Bakhsh, he had more freedom, and he could get away with so many things because no one knew his real identity. But now, with media scrutiny already accusing him of unfairly favoring Salman sb, he has to be a bit careful not to damage his party's reputation, which his mother worked hard to build. However, he plans to handle the situation discreetly. I totally get why Shibra was upset, but she should have trusted Shahmeer to handle it his way, given his position and influence. I also feel that this whole act of Shahmeer with Haroon is a lie; he is up to something.

Very early to say for Pas-e-dewar. I liked the fresh pairing of cba and noor and the fact that these two people are already married and something different will be happening instead of chasing after them for 30 episodes to see their happily ever after 😂 I think you should give it a chance.

I found Ishq Murshid to be a good watch. It was amazing when Shameer was trying to woo Shibra and I like how they did not end it with a happily ever after. I am all for a failed love story because it is easy to love but difficult to fulfill it's demands. I mean the end cannot be worse than the end of Khaie.

IM: The problem with IM is that Bilal as Fazal Bakhsh overshadowed Bilal as Shahmeer and although what's happening now is alligned with how drama started (politics, conflict of Shibra and Shameer's family values) but the love track had taken all the limelight and as soon as Shahmeer and Shibra got married, drama ended for many. What as an audience, we expect from a love story that is fetched for 22 episodes? Two ending up together and that has happened. Now what's left for audience. And then writer + director thought of ruining Shahmeer's character. In latest episode, Shahmeer's selfless love for Shibra is vanished, ruining it all.

Coney Island was excellent! Initially i thought it would be 7 epi based in its name but it turn out 3 👏.And all story lines were executed & wind up beautifully. You missed to mention the waiter of a restaurant who fell for therapist. Akhara- rustam and reshama did a great job.

IM became a disater as soon as Shameer identity was revealed. No, its not normal plus healthy that Shibra so easily and quickly came out of this shock and grief. It should have changed his personality. I mean an impersonator lives in your house and you didnt build trust issues, how can it be possible? Marrying Shameer seemd liked Shibra was so desperate to fall in love with a Prince and marry. I will again recommend to read Maala by Nemrah Ahmed. Girl, the protagonist just ruined her life and even after 5 years have trust issues with men. Her decision taking power became poor, she settled for less, she suffered. Thats how is the reality of life is.

Simple Ishq Murshid started off romantic and is heading towards tragedy I think it is totally fine. See Shahmeer is not Fazal bakshk that’s the whole point of a drama shibra fall for fazal baksh not Shahmeer. Shahmeer is a politician and he is destined to end up politician and if you mana is hurt watching shibra than they have delivered because you must be hurt with this episode. Mystery of the death of Zubaida needs to be unfold and mehreen is hurt too obviously so I think it wrapping up but I still think it is choppy but regardless it’s a good watch

Hassan is all of us : "Ishq Murshid ko tabah kar diya gaya hai" 😂 IM was two scripts all along - one the writers original content/intent and then the directors interpretation/liberty with the script. It really has felt like we're watching two stories in two languages unfold. The views are only for BILAL ABBAS KHAN (what a star!). IM is doing the TERE BIN debacle all over again😅totally agree with Amna that IM lost its charm when FB became Shahmeer..his revelation should have been the climax culminating into their marriage as the end. The drama's USP was Shahmeer's journey of winning his love. The whole political angle and his mother's story could have been wrapped like a short subplot. Now ,they are destroying Shahmeer's character, compelling us to compare him to Fazal Baksh rather than seeing FB as a part of Shahmeer. As an Indian viewer who also watches Pak and kdramas, I really thought this was at par with a lot of romcom content being made recently. i still stand by the view , first 19-20 episodes of the drama were phenomenal ..i even rewatch it as if its a different show..now to see its ending go downhill is so sad 😢💔😭

@Ishq Murshid. Shahmeer did the right thing. Every profession has some demands and so does politics. We all know this party matters to him because it is his mother’s legacy. Politicians always do things indirectly. Him or Shibra visiting his father- in-law in jail will not solve any problem and if anything, further weaken his influence. I believe Shahmeer is quietly working behind the scenes to find a solution. Let’s see. It’s all about perspective.

Content is bad, they watch the lame content. Ap dono Akhara ko iena criticise kartey hain..its one of the two dramas I am actually enjoying these days...Nicely executed concept of the Pehlawan culture ..there is more to the story than just a love triangle..yes that is there as well but there is the revenge element...And all the actors are top class...Jamshed, his mother, Reshma, her Bhabhi, Rustam, his parents..all are doing such an amazing job. And then there is Fairuz Khan...looking so HOT 🔥

I left watching Ishq Murshid after sudden and Bhondi marriage if Shibra and Shahmeer. I regret why I spent my time in watching drama which was just drama from start , far from real life.

Ishq murshid isnt ruined as such but i think they could have made shahmeer look a little bold romantic and a passionate carecter after marriage he literally seemed un intrested in her whicg pissed me the most like boy u did everything to get her and now when she is your wife you are behaving like u were forcefully married like that scene when he come to his house to see her and she holds his hand his expressions are like abee kidhar leke jaa rahi hai🙄 as a audience people expected it yo be a romantic love story but this sudden change in his carecter with out any proper base is what Audience can't connect and also to much screen time for fazal baksh had made audience fall in love with a facade and not yhe real carecter SHAHMEER and you know for the first time i my self felt had shibra met shahmeer instead of fazal baksh she would have never fallen in love with him

He was clearly only obsessed with her and his obsession ended when he got her. It's not like shibra is some smart intelligent girl. She is basically dumb and don't have a personality apart from being a preacher.

IM.for me is special and though i m not enjoying these recent episodes lekin overall i still love the play I was facing some great issues in life when i starrted watching ansd it really made me feel so better ,it was a complete package of everything aur q k mien already itni depressed thi mien kuch toxic ya typical nhi dekhna chahyti thi aur in cheezon se hat kar kuch tha hi nhi oon dino I know boht se logon ko shuru se ye pasand nhi aya sab ki apni choices hoti hien ,is drama ko shuru se hi criticism mili kisi na kisi jaga but i reallyy enjoyed it and now i cant hate it q k mien ne pehli 23 eips ko jitna enjoy kia ye pichle 6 eps ki disappointment oosk samne kam thi Mujhe pata hai k flaws hieen is mien lekin bari mushkil se koi cheez mujhe engage kar pai I loved the leads ,the comedy, the brother sister bond of suki and fazal bakhsh,shahmeers relation wiyth his mom ,his ffriendship with faraz and ofc the ost I hope the.last 2 eps conclude it well taake ye jo picchli chand episodes mess up hoi hien unka azala ho sake Time nikalna boht mushkil hota so its not possible to watch everythiing coming on tv neither is it eassy to switch to hsomething else specially jab wo cheez apke lie itni khaas rahi ho Mien ne ek saal baad koi drama dekha hai and its among thhose veryyy few things that despite being flawed is special two me

ISHQ MURSHID:- What I feel is that Shahmeer has become more POSSESSIVE about Shibra than before their marriage. You can literally Sense it when he says in the last scene, Main Tumhein ( Shibra), Khudko ( Shahmeer himself), aur Unko ( Suleiman Sahab) Kuch nhi hone dunga; To uski Priority sirf Shibra h baki duniya Jaye bhaad m. May be because after his mother's death, Shahmeer didn't get love from anyone except Shibra ❤❤ Now, he doesn't want to lose her at any cost, chahe uske baap ki kimat kyu na chukani pde. Unfortunately, he ( Shahmeer) will lose her ( Shibra's) Love 😒 MORAL OF THE STORY:- You should stay away from Politicians otherwise, you will have to Pay the Price. Just as Shibra did, She lost her father out of love for Shahmeer ( Politician) 😑

Totally ruined I think the mindset of script writers and directors are regressive they r unhappy in their lives because they can't show a happy couple and a girl happy in her inlaws house good mil and sil , very sad going backwards instead of forward. Shoud only see 1st and last episode.

Shahmeer should have let Shibra go and meet her father. But, otherwise Shahmeer is right. It's gonna have impact on his mom's political party if he helps Shibra's dad people will think Shahmeer favoured his father-in-law

'Ishq Murshid' had so much potential but somehow something hapened internally..either it was too close to Ramzan Mubarak..and there was a pressure to wind it up in time...Or there were some issues between writer and director.Otherwise it could have turned out outstanding dramma. I think the team was not prepared to take it's unimaginable popularity. It is rubbish to say that drama was concieved as purely a love story.Almost every episode gave clear indication that 'politics'has to play a crucial role. Anyways, i request you both to kindly don't just kill time .please give some worthwhile analetical review.Your audience is intelligent .
