Sir, I have read on Quora that ISI Kolkata mess is terrible for someone who is vegetarian. Only potato curry is provided there. Can you share some insights about this? And if this is the case, how will a vegetarian person survive there?

I hardly ate at Mess...I used the Canteen. The Canteen has good Vegetarian options (I am a Vegetarian). Plus, I only lived in the hostel for a month or so.

Zomato/swiggy is always there😂.. You need to get things worked out by talking to the mess... Like cheese sandwich was introduced in the mess on my recommendation.. It is more like a family than an organization... Things have to be sorted out in an informal manner rather than mailing the dean.. Etc like in other colleges
