Martinsville has tried very hard to get rid of their bad reputation of being a Klan town. It's not like it used to be but there still are some jerks who are bigoted toward minority people. Sadly so. Isaiah was without a doubt the best IU player I ever witnessed.

@@Riles3152 Malcolm said it best. The difference between a liberal and a conservative is like the difference between a fox and a wolf. They're both canine but have different ways of attacking their prey. The conservative is like that of a wolf. They'll let you know where they stand just like the Wolf will easily show you its teeth as though he's ready to attack and eat you. The liberal is like that of a fox. The fox appears harmless, unlike the Wolf and appears friendly you feel more comfortable around him. But when the fox knows that you're letting your guard down, that's when he attacks. The liberal will say the right things and tickle with words that you like to hear. Once you get comfortable the liberal will slip in racist epithets.

Mr Thomas didn't believe in entertainment, he believed in education . And his youngest son turned out to be 1 of the greatest point guards to ever play in the nba. Isiah Thomas never gave up on his goal to make it and be great. Isiah Thomas is a little older than me and we came from the same area on the westside in Chicago and I am proud of that man. As long as I'm alive and we talk basketball on the westside I always mention his name , the greatest player from Chicago and knew how to win , it's the point guards that lead because you have to follow they're lead to really win and he was great at leading . Besides basketball if you listen at him , Isiah Thomas knows more than basketball , he's educated his words be on cue.

@Paul Thomas Why is that? It's not because Bob Knight is white. He wanted Isiah to attend DePaul - which had a white coach. So, given that, it's more because he didn't appreciate Knight's joke when he asked Knight how he will protect his kid brother from the Klan. Not an unreasonable question to ask.

Surprised Zeke didn't mention the story of his high school days when Doc Rivers and his boys came into K-town to play some pickup, beat Zeke's team, and Zeke's brothers wouldn't let Doc and his boys leave right away. During that time, Doc and Zeke were considered the two best high schoolers in Chicago...
