The speedometer is off by 3 mph. Mine only does 25mph according to Google maps. You didn't bother verifying the speed. You say you got 25 miles of range at wide open throttle. You say you did alot of off roading. Then shows on video going 5mph off roading. You did not verify speed. You did not verify wide open throttle mileage. You did not mention that the stem fights you to simply push it down. You did not mention you could barely see it at night with the stock lighting.

So you regret buying it? I’m assuming the quality is not good? The speed/ spec in general I’ve been seeing r overrated usually from manufacturers Please share
@whiterussian756416 күн бұрын
It's max speed is just below 26mph. It reads 28mph even when going 23mph. So the odometer is off to the bad. I'm less than 155lbs. The suspension beats me to death on road cracks. It gets speed wobble over uneven mini moguls in the road. It will absorb pot hole blows though. It handles well. It has a locking display that cannot be started except by the app. You'll need disc locks. A foldy lock can be ran through the front swing arm to add additional locks to it. Would only require a socket set and some time to remove the front wheel. Battery is 15ah even though the app says 12.5ah. Will go claimed 25 miles at max speed at full charge. I went over 20 miles and had 15 or 20% of battery left. It runs plus 25 for the first 15 miles or so of the battery. Then drops to 23mph for second half of battery. Can sometimes run 24. All while displaying 28. Metal ring on inside grip rubs against bottom of thumb. Gloves are necessary to avoid this. The folding mechanism has a double lock and works well. Is sturdy and safe. The back foot rest slash latch to carry will not catch the handlebar latch. But is light enough to carry a short distance and it's not awkward. Claims tires are solid. But are actually air filled. With 27.5psi from the factory. Tires are good quality but unforgiving on rough surfaces. This would not be a good off road scooter due to the suspension not having any give. It needs more lights added if night driving. It's build quality is good. Payed $619.99 out the door. Shipped to my door. If you can exceed 30 mph in your state (I can't). I'd buy the $750-850 Kukirin G2 max. If limited to 30mph or less this is an "okay" scooter for commuting on decent roads. It takes 8-9 hrs to charge. So a 2nd scooter would be necessary to get you around. It does not have much room or hold a handlebar smartphone well. Free tote bag blocks headlight and cant be used.For the price point it's not bad. But it's not particularly good either. But I'll still ride it.

Ty for your honest review and input. I wanted to make the decision to buy a scooter this weekend and glad I chimed in. I read the main con being the folding connection and some other mentioning the speed etc and 2 other members mentioned the suspension also. I just didn’t want to fully commit to these Chinese make scooter until I asked a lot of actual riders. You mentioned a good point about the night riding also as it lacks a few things like night lights etc. I’ll look into that other scooter you mentioned but I may just up my budget for a kaabo mantis or something. I brand scooter makes up for some flaws I’ve seen w mantle off road, but again the quality and reliability are important to me also. I didn’t want a hi boy because I wanted off road capability

Yep, bought a couple of mini caribeaners and attached them to the latch to extend the range, they fixed the problem but really they need to redesign the latch to be longer. Can't believe they didn't figure this out before releasing it.

Hey Paul, I just got mine as well and I can't for the life of me get the latch to hook onto the back. I think it's not long enough to loop under the hook. It seems like a design flaw to me and I sent a support email to them, hopefully they can resolve it.

I stumble upon this scooter and after viewing the specs I feel inclined to buy. I’m looking for a scooter for commuting and recreation/ enjoyment in a city area. Would you recommend this scooter over a common brand like hi boy max pro , etc?
@PaulTech-Reviews27 күн бұрын
Hi Yes, this scooter I have tested and highly recommend. Perfect for city commute. I ride this scooter daily to work 16 miles round trip. Through paved and gravel roads, performance is great. I also have a segway ninebot max and prefer to ride the S10 Max over that one.

@@PaulTech-Reviews thank you so much for your honest feedback. I like the scooter, just contemplating the complaints on the folding hook issue. Also reached out to the company and they have yet to reply since pst week. Though I am very much considering it and will try to upgrade it if I get it with side lighting for night city riding

Another annoying thing is they put the thumb throttle on the left side of the right brake, not right next to the grip like most other scooters. I'm trying to figure out how to easily swap them. Need a long thumb to operate the throttle.

Hey Paul, I have seen your reviews and they look nice. I bought an KuKirin G2 Max a few days before this scooter dropped in Canada. I am wondering, which scooter would you recommend between the S10 Max and the KuKirin G2 Max? The G2 Max has a key, but no app and the S10 Max has an app but no key. I know that you haven't done a review with the KuKirin G2 Max but, when you do, please let me know. The G2 Max also has an 1000W motor, and has a "claimed range" of 80km, and has a "claimed top speed" of 55km/h, which is slightly faster than the S10. The S10 has a 54.6V battery with 15amH, and the G2 max has a 48V 20amH battery. It also doesn't have a charger, but it is slightly heavier. G2 Max does have tubes in it's tire but it does have split rims. Please let me know your thoughts! Thanks!
