Scafolding up. Drop a block 2 blocks over and break the connection. Place lava on it. Wait for lava to hit the ground. Take the lava and put water there as soon as you see the top of the block. Instant bubble elevator and afk spot.

@@aphy460 Use scaffolding to tower up then place a block as a platform two spaces away from the scaffolding, break the two blocks between the tower and the platform. Get a lava bucket and place it on the platform, when the lava hits the ground replace it with water

@@randomguy477 amount of water means amount of guardian spawning spots. If you take out thousands of water blocks and only put back hundreds, you're going to be getting worse rates. Best farm is to surround the ocean monument hitbox in sand, get rid of everything but the water, soul sand the entire floor and then fence gate water stream the entire top. Spoiler: also incredibly, incredibly grindy. Bonus points for sending them to the nether before killing, because the quicker you get them out of the mob cap, the higher the rates of the farm.

The theoretical upper limit only is defined by the requirement that all rooms of a monument must have a path to the front entrance and that sponge rooms only generate when a small (1x1x1) room only gets a bottom opening. The 7 or so rooms Iskall found (it's always around 30 sponges per room) should be among the largest number of sponge rooms you can expect, though.

When you drink a potion of invisibility for a sea temple you don't need to take off your armor at least from my experience, love the Hermitcraft series and keep up the good work!

Turned out great. I really like the look of the deep slate and colored glass. When I build guardian farms I usually use a conduit and invisibility potions after clearing the elders out. Then I box in the whole spawn area and mine out the monument underwater with haste+aqua affinity+depth strider. Then I build a large water blade on top and carpet the bottom with soul sand. It still takes a good while, but I don't have to dig for as much sand or clear out large chunks of water.

With the kelp iskall, you only need to kelp 2 walls. The back and side wall for instance. As the water sources will fill the rest. For extra efficiency you can do every second space (basically make the same pattern you would if using buckets). Makes this process a lot easier.

Iskall: it doesn't matter which was you orient the fence gate but that was a bit annoying. Also iskall: opens all the gates in the same direction so the are off center on the holes

You could use a switchable floor on top of the hopper using hay stacks instead of regular blocks, which would save time, and possibly look better as well.
