ISKCON Sri Radha Krishna Temple is recognized as one of the famous places to visit in Bangalore and best mentained ISKCON temple in the world.ISKCON Sri Radha Krishna temple was inaugurated in the year 1997. It is not just a temple, but a cultural complex housing the temples dedicated to the Deities of Sri Sri Radha Krishnachandra, Sri Sri Krishna Balarama, Sri Sri Nitai Gauranga, Sri Srinivasa Govinda, Sri Prahlada Narasimha, Bhakta Hanuman, Garudadeva and Srila Prabhupada, Founder Acharya of ISKCON. ISKCON Bangalore is a charitable society with the objective of propagating Krishna Consciousness all over the world, as explained by Srila Prabhupada, whose teachings are based on Bhagavad-gita and Srimad Bhagavatam.
The temple has got 6 shrines and the presiding deity is Prahlada Narasimha, the other deities are Radhe - Krishna, Krishna Balarama, Nitai Gauranga, Srinivasa Govinda, Prahlada Narasimha & Srila Prabhupada.
108 stones were placed on the pathway & we stood on every stone and chanted the mantra - Hare Rama Hare Krishna. We had a wonderful dharshan of all the deities and had a very blissful feel.
You can visit here via Your vehcile buses , cabs or metro. Free entry, Spl ticket counter available and this cost is 400 for 6 people.
A must visit. Central dome is extremely grand and beautifully designed. You’d be lost in the world of devotion upon sighting Krishna. Tasty prasada and bakery items can be bought here , you can also buy spiritual artifacts, spiritual books in many Indian languages, hotel is there, art gallery is there. More than inside the temple you may spend more time outside.
Souvenir and books can be bought within temple premises. Close to the metro station and good facilities for parking, drinking water, hand wash, washroom, slipper stand and luggage counter.
ISKCON Temple provides mesmerizing atmosphere and indulging once it is filled with Radha Krishna - Krishna Radha Chanting Especially if you visit during early mornings.
A lot of walk is required to reach the temple. For senior citizens, the signboard is put up in the lift entry area and HDF Counter area, senior citizens can directly go for darshan to Radha Krishnachandra temple by lift, Wheel chair facility is also available, assistance can be asked from Main Reception.
