Hare Krishna Prabhuji, In the last section, the role of faith is described that we need some faith to start with spiritual life and the whole progression in nine steps is the strengthening of that faith. along with faith dedication and regulation of senses is also required. by this we get knowledge soon. but people who do not have faith are lost. thank you.

Faith leads to knowledge. and knowledge increases faith. While the relationship between knowledge and faith is symbiotic, it begins with faith.

Categorize spiritual knowledge to develop faith and learn to suspend doubts 4.39 - A faithful man achieves this knowledge and subdues his senses and attains the supreme spiritual peace. 4.40 - The doubting soul falls down and has no happiness in this world or the next. 4.41 - Acting in devotional service, renouncing fruits of actions with no doubts is situated in self. He is not bound by reactions of work. 4.42 - Slash the doubts by ignorance with weapon of knowledge. Armed with yoga, stand up and fight.

Faithful acquires knowledge. What does it mean? But we think knowledge will increase faith. So what is the cause and what is the effect? They have symbiotic relationship. You need to have some faith. Then we get knowledge, doubts get clarified and our faith increases.
