It will say, 'Are there any more (to come)?' On that Allah will put His Foot on it, and it will say 'Qati! Qati! (Enough! Enough!). I like the way Uthman explains things but I have one suggestion for this brother. Please, use only English words when you are talking with English speaking people especially non Muslims who speak English. He said Tawhid and nar. Do they know what these words mean? This is one thing I have never understood about Muslim teachers, why do they continue to use Arab words in settings where the people they are talking to do not understand Arabic. At least, translate the words whenever you use them.
@akbarsafarov70434 жыл бұрын
Nice point. The session was awesome though

Because they used to those words
@luulmaogi22934 жыл бұрын
@@ashiquehasan7326 All the more reason to prepare to translate them and not make your audience get lost at what you are saying. Not only does this show a lot of Muslim lecturers are not well prepared when they speak to audiences, but it also shows how little importance they put in communicating effectively. There is really no excuse for them to do this and I have seen all of them do this without exception. How can they all do the same mistake all the time?
@HBountario3 жыл бұрын
U r right bro.
@abdirahmanyusuf77233 жыл бұрын
Tawheed by now is a popular across audiences. Besides I agree the part where you request translations of such words but not to when u indirectly attack their hardwork to this dacwa and somehow insinuate that they dont care because the "always " come unprepared. In addition..they are accustomed to muslim audiences throughout the week and the fact that u could only capture only 2 words from a long vid is itself a thing to applaud.

Sheik Uthman, when answering questions. Make sure there is no open loops. For example when a question was asked about murder and repentance. People might go around saying Muslims can go around killing and then repent, so everything becomes all good. Whereas there is actually penalty for death after proper trials. And even if you repent, whether that is accepted by God is not known by us. Your penalty and repentance may bring your judgment in the next life lower, and you might still have to ask forgiveness from the victim, which God will justly weigh and provide the verdict and punishment for taking a life that was not right of anyone to do but expect for God. And depriving of the gift and time of life that God had given.
@maharoof1014 жыл бұрын
I felt that too. He could have explain it more clearly. No need to rush ...
@azharkhan5994 жыл бұрын
He didn't ask what the law if any body murder the Q is if someone murder how we get repentence from God not asking the law or punishment for the crime and I think you might be wrong about that Allah will accepted or not is not known to us because it is clear that if you repent with sincerity with intentions not to do that again Allah forgive you at that time. Just remeber the hadith brother narrated by Anas r.a in which Allah the Almighty said: O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind.
@RL-lh5yb4 жыл бұрын
@@azharkhan599 yes that is what I meant by "open ended". Since the person who doesn't know asks, the person may think that the answer given is all there is to it. And may believe what I said as an example to be true. That's why most of the people who do not know of Islam, they quote verses out of context or try to find faults ... It is because they don't have the full picture. It is important to cover open ends, because it can lead to misunderstandings in other aspects later. Isn't one of the hadith, thats worse than zina even. Is to do harm or deprive another person, because the trial will be between the two, the forgiveness comes from the other. And Allah assigns the punishment justly. When I find the reference to the hadith, I'll post it soon.
@azharkhan5994 жыл бұрын
@@RL-lh5yb brother I totally agreed with there are two types of sins furst, between you and Allah second, between you and the person you harm and Allah adn I totally agreed in the second case untill the victim forgive yiu or their or untill yiu oay the price or punishment if that Allah will not forgive you but here is the Q about you and Allah, the guy asking how to get forgiveness from God and I got you what yiu sre saying that the others takes it both the cases but I think shaikh tell that one in short that the family may forgive you and if the case is in courst then its different, by the we are on agreement. Assalamualikum
@RL-lh5yb4 жыл бұрын
@@azharkhan599 wa'alaiku musalm. Family can forgive true, but if that person who's for example murdered, doesn't forgive in the afterlife... Then..? What I'm ultimately saying is, we do not want to answer incompletely, so the people who don't know/asking the questions, are not thinking that Muslims can murder and then ask God (additionally the family) for forgiveness, then that everything is ok. That concept would be the Christian way, that everything/anything is forgiven if you truly believe, pray to, and love Jesus. Or simply because he loves you. So automatically you're going to heaven anyway haha.

Actually , secular law and sharia law can coexist. For instance , in Malaysia , there are practising of civil law in high court/ federal court and sharia law in sharia court. Both law are conserved by the Constitution itself. Civil law for all people, muslim and non-muslim but sharia just for muslim. In high/federal court the charges related to things like penal code, bribery and so on but in sharia court, things which are brought in are such as fornication, drinking and so on. Eventhough , the sharia punishment just fined, canning or prisoning not like as in quran but still the law system is implemented there

Why Syeikh didn't explain about qisas..because they still can be prison if the government/syariah enforcement apply qisas, other than hudud.
@junaid22663 жыл бұрын
Qisas is equality in punishment so a murderer can not go to prison because restricting someone's freedom isn't an appropriate punishment for taking a life. For Qisas you have to kill the murderer (in the same way the victim was killed) unless a relative of the victim agrees to forgive the criminal or decides on a diyah. Qisas is only applied for intentional murder.
