Islam in India: Part I

'Islam in India' traces the origins of Islam in India, its significance in shaping Indian culture, and its peaceful coexistence and unification with other religions in the Indian subcontinent. During the Mughal times, India was unified as a whole and displayed splendid architectural and cultural heritage. It also saw the collaboration of Islamic and Hindu styles in perfect harmony. But it was the Sufis, and not the Muslim rulers, who carried Islam and its principles of belief in one God and equality of man. Many Sufi Saints through the following few centuries promoted peace and harmony among various religions and influenced millions of followers, helping to form the basis of India's unique composite culture.

from an arab musliam we respect Idians and their culture. our great grandparent used to sail there for trade. And you'd find many arabs grandfathers visiting Idians for trade and how much they trusted one another. They say an arab man would only give his word to the Indian and the Indian would trust them to fulfill the promise that how much trust we had for one another. Do not let today's world shadow the beautiful history we shared and until this day you'd find how Indian culture entwined in the arab world. Not the older or this generation ahve anything but respect for the Indians. And I honestly look up to India on how much they love and tolerate one another no matter the religion. Cherish your country because it's beautiful with it's kind people.

There's no place for terrorism in Islam. As you said you have many Muslim friends, ask them about Islams take on terrorism.
