They face their fears every day without the distractions that western men have (drugs, alcohol, women, lazziness, divorce). Its physics. Physically speaking both fighters are the same mass. But weight is the force you experience because of gravity and leverage can amplify that force. Islam is not doing math in his head while fighting (probably not but he's autistic so who knows) but he has a feel for what moves and positions will allow him to apply the maximum force and the training to execute it.
