Interesting. The most vocal who are yelling saying how horrible of a person he is are the same ones who usually oppose implementing the shariah for gender separation. Whereas the leaders we should be following are the ones who are calm and level headed like this sheikh who happen to usually be at the forefront fighting to implement gender separation

With all due respect I do not believe the equivocation with the Hadith of Ifq is related to this incident. An investigation was DONE and evidence provided and arrest made based on that evidence. The community has right to be horrified and condemn this individuals actions. No one jumped to accuse, the evidence was provided first. Also no one celebrated this news or were happy to hear what he did. We were devastated and horrified. The example of Zinq is NOT relevant to cases of child abuse. Rape is not equivalent to Adultery between two consenting adults in the Shariah and CHILD ABUSE is definitely not equivalent. Really disappointed that the respected sheikh responded in this way.

I think his point is we don't know if the evidence is real or not. In other words, we will never know of its actually true or not. In the end let the courts do their job and we should keep our mouths shut to avoid defamation in case we are wrong. Refer to 07:30 in the video.
