Mashallah, what a beautiful lesson 😍 He explained it without insulting anyone and delivered the message gently but also firmly, and that's admirable. May Allah guide us all to the right path and help us navigate through life's challenges with a strong belief in our hearts 🤲🏻❤️

Nor make our Eid’s like their Christmas. Be fun, grateful, and don’t forget you still have to worship Allah. Eid is about enjoying food, company etc even shows, thing is entertainment and wastefulness has deluded us to do this everyday and being over excessive with it. And more importantly, do not forget Ibadah (worship) during Eid.

Let the Quran speak. When we celebrate merry Christmas or wish merry Christmas , we are celebrating an abhorrent man made concept of God begetting a human son. “And they say, The Most Merciful has taken a son. You have done an atrocious thing. The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son. And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son.” ― Quran19:88-92

And you do not need to think being kind, making dua for them to be guided, be friendly means you need to celebrate their festivals. A shirk celebration. Do not compromise your deen. Be kind to them everyday, in a way that Allah is pleased with. Rather than that one day while also displeasing Allah. It’s like silly valentine day, what you only show love that one day or appreciate it, no, Alhamdulilah everyday!

Muslims who celebrate Christmas is like congratulating a married gay couple with their relationship.

Worse than the immoral behaviour of homosexuality. Christmas is shirk which is the worst of all sins. Remember Allah forgives whatever He wants EXCEPT those who associate partners with Allah.. may Allah guide us all..Ameen.

interesting …. i understand and appreciate how he is shedding light around how slippery slope the terrain of assimilation is … however the tone of his perspective will not invite people into reflection on how to tweak minimize their engagement with dominant culture. As someone with South Asian lineage and ancestry, my blood and bones anchor me into limiting my assimilation with Arab culture that is dominant in mainstream Islamic discourse …. naturally because the Prophet was Arabian. Not Every Islamic Stream or Approach will share his interpretation of the Qur’an. Some are more Syncretic. 🙏🌷🌹 My Ancestors are Sindhu… so I will still greet others with this gesture 🙏 and Allah loves Authenticity and Sincere Gestures of Devotion, Not Performative Arabness. 🌙

Sir,why are muslims so concerned and worried about Christmas?
@cerberus8856Күн бұрын
Because, its elements are starting to creep into Muslim lives that are living in the west (i.e. wishing merry..., buying trees, etc.) so, they need to know its pagan roots to avoid it fully and not associating with it at all. Since Jesus Christ (Peace be upon him) is also a prophet in Islam, Muslims need to know the reality of his birth which is mentioned in the Quran.

They are human beings and deserve that respect. However they are erroneous in their thinking and don't want to know better. So why shd we lower ourselves to accept their error?

Even in the Bible the prophet Jeremiah warns them Jeremiah 10…..they say it refers to idols but the argument is empty. The. Tree is clearly an idol in that kids are taught that Santa Clause “hears and sees all” na oozu Billah! They are taught to be good for Santa Clause!! May Allah protect us from this shirk! The children are taught that if they are good, Santa will reward them. But the celebration is built around the winter solstice system which is what the prophet is talking about. The signs of the heavens. In winter the days get shorter and the nights get longer. The tree is a good luck symbol because the pine tree does not lose its coloring in winter. The lights and colors represent the night time sky. The prophet Jeremiah warned them and now we commit this shirk with pride. Astafiru Allah. Protect us.

The tree means the immortality of Isa. The giving of gifts and lights don't make sense in any religion celebration
