This is a very odd and also pointless question to be sincere. It is not Khabibs task to convert Ronaldo to Islam, it was also not our last Prophet's (s.a.v.) task to convert people to Islam as Allah (s.w.t.) tells us multiple times in the holy Qur'an. Only Allah (s.w.t.) can guide people to the right path. So what's this issue with people being so interested in converting other people or let's say famous people? Especially the fact that they're so focused on converting famous people is even more odd. As if they are seeing them as better people than none famous people. It doesn't matter whether a Ronaldo reverts or a poor man from the middle of nowhere. All they gain is for themself. May Allah (s.w.t.) guide Ronaldo and ALL OF US to the right path.

But Ibn Kathir rah mentioned in his tafseer that there is 2 different guidens. One that Allah only can guide. Anyone who is living in multicultural and multireligional countries can understand that people from other religion say words like Assalamoalaikum, Inshallah, etc just to show respect to our religion. In reality they respect every religion. From Muslim perspective, our religion plays important role in our life. But for other people, there are many and many who have their moral ground based on the society where they are born and they are living upto it.
