It is no surprise that basic reasoning is entirely lost on those that believe that the creator became one of those he created in order to save the created from his own self. I am sorry but I dont agree with Iman Drew Davis staying in the industry. You cant be in that kind of environment and not be influenced in his iman etc. His vision for the alternative is the way to go and safer. You cant mix both world and not to expect coming out of it untouched. His eeman and connection with Allah is much more important. His intelligence and talent can be utilize for much better place. Mashallah. So happy listening to your story. I was 20 years old when I became Muslim and said never in a million years would I became Muslim. But once I read more about Islam (already knew a lot from my friends but I knew what it meant for me if I became Muslim). I took a book about Islam just because a friend gave it and said i have nothing to lose. Was already on a spiritual journey. Within 3 months after reading book and learning and reading Quran “ in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest” and it had a footnote and I came across a Hadith that we all know, “if you walk to Allah, He runs to you, id you mention Him in a group of people, He mentions you in a group better than that…” I was over poured with emotion and just knew. 21 years later here I am Alhamdulilah
