Islamic Leader says ‘no room for terrorist activities’ following Bishop stabbing

Just days after six people were killed at the Westfield shopping centre in Bondi Junction, another horrifying attack has taken place.
A Bishop has been stabbed while delivering a livestreamed sermon at an Orthodox Church in Wakeley.
Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Grand Imam and President Inamul Haq Kauser spoke to Sky News Australia about the latest news.
He said there is “no room for any terrorist activities” in Islamic teachings.
Islam does not permit anyone to “harm anyone”, he said.
“Islam has given the teachings of peace.”

I am not surprised to see the Ahmaddiya respond the way they have. Theoretically, the Ahmaddiya sect is considered a heretical sect according to orthodox Islam (Sunni and Shia). In fact, the Ahmaddiya sect has been persecuted in the country of their birth, which is modern day Pakistan, by none other than orthodox Islam. But that is not all. Everywhere else in the Islamic world, the Ahmaddiya sect is either banned or persecuted, on account of being considered heretical by orthodox Islam.
